The entire staff was extremely helpful. My 90 lbs Alaskan Malamute, Bravo, came in with a skin ittiration. The previous vet admitted that they didnt know what it was an prescribed a generic antibiotic. Well, Dr. Tallent properly identified it and prescribed the appropriate medications and treatment. He also suggested a supplement to reduce the shedding. We noticed improvement within the first week. Bravo was not cooperating at all. He tried to bite Dr. Tallent during the examination. Tallent dodged the majority of the bite but he still drew some blood. Dr Tallent cleaned and bandaged himself and continued with the examination. One part of the treatment included a medicated bath the following day which they offer at their facility. Bravo did not want a bath and was growling and snapping even with his muzzle on. I was ready to give up. Bravo had to be sedated to get his bath. I appreciated that option. The receptionist, Bryce, was instrumental in assisting in helping to move the sleeping Bravo around and put Bravo in my car afterwards. This was an ordeal that I dont think would have been resolved from start to finish at any other vet. The proper diagnosis and medication, the bath ordeal, and have supplement to reduce the shedding. When I talked to my home vet in Chicago, they didnt carry the medication in house, I would have to pick it up from CVS pharmacy so it was an added benefit that Dr Tallent stocked the medication which saved me an extra stop.

Although the staff up front are well spoken, and courteous, the service here is hideous!!!!! The doctor(s) were rude and arrogant on both occassions. Their MAIN concern was their REVENUE. They did not want to treat my cat or dog without performing numerous tests and procedures that had already been done prior to said visit. Recent (within 4 months) documentation via another vet was presented to them at time of visit with total disregard. Medications were administered to my pets that were unnecessary b/c we already had ample supply from a previous vet. The only reason we even went to this clinic was b/c they took care credit, and our regular vet didnt...it was urgent that the pets be seen in a timely manner. The doctor inquired the amount on the credit card, then went to town on wiping it out in less than 3 visits on REPEAT procedures! When requested that our cat be spade, the doctor stated that we didnt have enough money left on the credit card. unbeknowst to me the remainder of this cost was only $2.OO!!!!!!! Yes folks, I said two dollars!!!!!!!! Needless to say, my cat escaped the house, and was pregnant 2 days later....63 days later, she gave birth to 4 kittens. She never responded to the kittens or anyone for that matter. Just a short while later she had to be euthanized!!!! Due to a ruptured uterus. I just think it is INHUMANE and disrespectful to ONLY be concerned with a $ sign than the care of a pet!

I love everyone at the Conway Animal Clinic! I am very impressed with the personal attention my babies have received over the last 20 years -- I have never had any problems boarding any of my babies there because I know they will be looked after just like I would do at home. They were wonderfully supportive when I had to put down a beloved dog a few years ago and I think it was hard on the staff almost as much as on myself. I know that Doctor Tallent worked hard in researching the factors involved in my pets health in order to provide the best advice and medical care possible. My current little "angel" (dont laugh ladies!) is not the friendliest of doggies - he prefers to bite first and take prisoners later! But Doctor Tallent is just as diligent with his health as with any pet brought in AND I APPRECIATE THAT MORE THAN YOU CAN KNOW! I recommend the Conway Animal Clinic to everyone.

I have been going to Conway Animal Clinic since 1988. They have always taken care of my pets and treated them with love. They are sensitive to clients and how much their pets mean to them. I have had many pets over the years. I cannot think of any other place I would take them for treatment. They are very professional as well as friendly. They have treated each of my pets with the best care possible. They have shown me comfort and support when one of my pets has crossed over the rainbow to their heaven. For that I truly appreciate. If you love your animals then this is the place for you. You pay for what you receive with service. If you want the best then use them.

We just moved to Conway from Dallas. Our little Chiweenie has never had a tick before, so when we picked nearly 30 off of him in 2 days, we were very worried. I was sure he had Lyme Disease! When I spoke with the ladies at Conway Animal Clinic, they must have heard how worried I was. They made us an appointment right away! They took such good care of him. Hes never warmed up to anyone so quickly! These people are angels. They even called me the next day to see how he was doing after his shots! :) We love our dog soooo much, it meant a lot to me that they were so sweet to him. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

The receptionist is incredibly nice, but Dr. Tallant is an absolute horror. He talks to us like were complete idiots, and yelled at me because I didnt hold my dog tight enough. He tells you that you *must* have tests done that arent necessary, and way overcharges for the services. Weve spent a lot of money there, and we both feel just plain cheated. We recently started taking our pets to a different vet who is incredibly kind, keeps true to business hours, and takes great care of our babies. My advice, go somewhere else. (We go to Chestnut Animal Clinic now, Dr. Shaddox is wonderful).

I love Conway Animal Clinic! Dr. Tallent is a very through vet. At times he has ordered medical testing (which does add to the price of the visit) to detemine the root of the problem instead of just pushing meds. One of my pets had a antibiotic resistance infection, without the additional testing leading to the correct diagnosis the illness would have continued to progress. I find the staff very easy to talk to and very responsive. They call to check up on your pets, and are willing to answer email questions.

Loree:I have used CAC for over twenty years and would not trust my pets care to anyone else. The Staff is friendly and caring and provides positive professional assistance and vet care. I am extremely picky about my pets and feels comfortable asking as many questions as I need to and can expect the most up to date information and advice.I highly recommend CAC. Go in and visit with them - you will find them very receptive and knowledgeable about your pets needs.

Dr. Tallant, Angela, Carrie, Lisa, and all the other staff are great! I dont live in Conway anymore, but will continue to take both of my dogs here for as long as I live in Arkansas. I love that we are treated like family every time we walk in the door, Im so thankful that Dr. Tallant is so thorough in his evaluation of every pet--thats what it takes to make an accurate diagnosis and provide adequate treatment. Thanks guys! Vegas and Lennox love you all!
