This place is terrible. The staff is friendly and polite, but absolute rip offs. My border collie had developed a cyst/boil and I was weary of leaving it unchecked since it was rather large. I brought him in to be examined, and after checking it the doctor said he would like to take a sample to inspect under the microscope. After returning he informed us it was a growth and would not go away on its own. He suggested surgically removing it so it could be sent off and tested to make sure it wasnt cancerous. Of course we love our dog so we agreed to have an appointment to have it removed for the cost of 900 dollars. The visit and evaluation of the "growth" cost me 150 dollars. Well 3 days later the thing popped! So there are two possible scenarios here. 1) The doctor gave my dog the wrong prognosis. 2) He lied to my face to make money. Either scenario leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I for one dont plan on bringing my dog here ever again. Bad bad business. Not only were they going to have me spend an excessive amount of money on something my dog did not need. But they were going to subject him to an uncomfortable surgery just to make money.

We have no words to express our gratitude to Dr. Danny Brown and to assistant Sonia Wolder. Sadly we had to put our pet Foxy to rest. She had been with us for 19 wonderful years, but it was time to let go. Both Dr. Danny and Sonia were very compassionate and understanding to our emotions and grief. Foxys last minutes were handle professionally and with Love, She went to sleep and is now among friends in a place called Rainbow Bridge....pain free. If there were more than five stars, I would gladly post them. You deserve it. Thank you Tony & Fatima

This is a great place to bring your loved ones/pets!! You can call them an actually get a live person ready to talk to you! (Wel pet needs to learn this) There always friendly and helpful! I came home from work and my dogs face was completely swollen, my first thought was spider bite on her head, I called East Hills Vet and they took her Right away!! No waiting, they took it seriously and took her right away! Thank God is wasnt a spider bite, she had an allergic reaction to something, but shes better now thanks to East Hills Vet!!

Bulletproof Pet Products

I have tried many vets in the Brentwood, Antioch and Pittsburg area. Usually not going more than once or twice to any of them. However, East Hills is different. The staff and the vet there are so awesome. We have decided never to go anywhere else. We actually live in Brentwood and drive all the way there because they are so good. Great care, great prices and they act like they really care. I have taken my dogs there sick, for check ups and to be neutered. I highly recommend them.

Ive been going to Dr. Brown for forever. His son recently graduated and joined the staff 2 years ago. Now I have the best of both worlds. Experience, knowledge, and new ideas. My dog was recently diagnosed with Mast Cell tumor cancer and Dr Brown did the surgery for 1/3 of the cost I was quoted else where. Im happy with the outcome and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VETERINARY HOSPITAL!

My kitties got worms im so creeped out. They booked me right away. Ive never been here before they even offered to stand outside of the clinic so i could find it. I will be changing my vet to here. Staff is courtieous and nice. My kitties are getting an injection not pills or drops like the other vets wanted me todo. Awesome place highly recommended

We have been coming here since this place had been open, over 30 years. Ive never had better caring vets and staff members at any other place than East Hills. They even sent a sympathy card home to me when my hamster died back when I was 12 years old. I will never go anywhere else. My pets are always is great hands with them!

Recently had to take my 17 year old kitty to them to be put to sleep. I had never been to this vet before but will be going back to them if the need arises. They were very compassionate and kind in such a tough situation. I truly appreciate all they did for me and their compassion. I would definitely recommend then.
