They need big-time help in communication. I was quoted one price on the phone, and made sure that all the details were boxed up so there wouldnt be any misunderstandings or hidden charges (spaying), and when I got there, I was questioned about her age, something I had already discussed with the person on the phone who agreed to waive the puppy exam if I booked the spay the next week. I went there because the price was a little more than SPCA, but after talking with the people on the phone, I was convinced that I was making the right choice. I think the vet did a good job, but when I went to pay the bill, they had ignored the conversation about waiving the puppy exam, added on more anesthesia without explanation. They did me right by honoring my original agreement, but made me feel like I was trying to take advantage. The next day etirely different staff. The front-desk lady the day before tried to blame information on "volunteer" or other help they have that didnt know. So thats MY problem? I dont like hidden charges, I dont like games, so I wont go back here. I thought Loomis Basin was high in price, which they are, but I think they give out correct information if you ask them. I dont undestand the last comment by jen-ay. If she doesnt like the treatment there, why are you taking your new puppy there? There are other places. I think maybe it was a typo and you meant to say you wont be taking her there.

I called for a quote on an X-ray, Jessica quoted $75 for 1 view and stated that I didnt need a vet exam unless I chose to have one after viewing the X-ray. My husband arrived with our girl and the first thing Virgina informed him of was that it was actually going to be 3X the price they quoted over the phone. Obviously she knew we were quoted $75 or that wouldnt have been her opening statement to him! They didnt honor the price quoted and were extremely rude! Not to mention the fact they should have called us with the price change before waiting on us to arrive in office! I did speak to the vet/owner Karen and she tried to insult me in a nice way. I am beyond happy that I didnt become a client of theirs. I took my business to north fork where they are more than fair and honest.

Horrible place to be. Cant believe they are so uneducated. And they love to surprise you with prices different than what they tell you on the phone. They also need to get rid of that new girl, Emily. Shes nice and shes young which I think they like so she can try and relate to people but its clear that she does not know what she is doing. They need to get people who have finished school and know how to be real vets. I definitely do not recommend this place at all.

I have been going there for years for normal checkups and vaccines and always appreciated the reasonable prices. It wasnt until recently that my dog had an injury and was very sick that I realized how truly special Companion vet really is. After my visit, Dr. Karen Klentos called and checked in several times in a period of a few weeks to check in and answer any questions. I dont even get that with my own doctor. Love her and all her staff.

We moved to the area a couple years ago and have brought our dogs to the Companion Veterinary Clinic several times. Im about to call them to see if we can come in today to get a foxtail/sneezing issue looked at, and I noticed they have less than 5 stars... but they are definitely a five star place. I love Companion Veterinary Clinic.

We love Dr. Karen. We have two dogs and a cat that go to Companion Vet Clinic and they are thorough and give us all our options up front. Shes been honest about what is necessary treatment and what can wait. Our rescue Pomeranian has a lot of minor health issues and Dr. Karen helps us every time!

This is the worst place around. Not just the bad attitudes but the bad medical practice. This poor excuse of a vet caused my dog to die of poisoning from over medicating him. Go anywhere but here. They just plain Suck.

Well i have to say that they get things done but every time i take my dog in there not so nice and well they didnt give me what i needed for information. so im not going to take my new puppy there.
