I am a finicky pet owner and I used to work in the veterinary industry, therefore I am familiar with procedures and medical terminology. I transferred my older dog and several cats to FTLOP after moving and at my husband-to-bes suggestion. Dr. Avery and I understood each other and our expectations of one another as both doctor and client. My dog was treated fabulously, and with her particular needs this could sometimes be difficult. My cats were always carefully cared for and handled. I can honestly say that the medical team handled our cases very well and the rest was up to God. I was never surprised, pricing is very competitive for the level of service provided, the phone lines were always open and Dr. Avery was always willing to answer my questions or discuss the procedure again if I needed to. With my experience in the field and my experiences at this hospital, I decided to join the team. FTLOP strives to make the client feel comfortable when leaving their pet for a procedure and FTLOP also strives to educate the client about their pets needs at home, whether it be surgical recovery or a diet plan. This hospital is GREAT!

The staff here is amazing. They are friendly, attentive and supportive. My pet Raiden was seen promptly and given excellant care. The vet was able to diagnose and fix the issue. I am so pleased to know For the Love of Pets is here in Grass Valley providing loving care to our blessed companion animals. Thanks for everything!

Highly recommend! Dr DiCarlo is very knowledgeable but also allows me to ask questions and make suggestions, which I appreciate. The front office staff is the best Ive found in GV. They are very responsive!
