This is why I recommend Dr. Masler above all other chiros both in this area and from my old neighborhood (Monterey Park, CA). My wife has had chronic back problem - scholiosis - since she was a teenager, when it got really bad because of growth spurts. She even had to wear a spinal corrective brace for a few years to realign her back. The doctor she started going to regularly was 'okay', but she complained that 90% of the visit was by a vibrating machine and 10% was an actual massage, the latter of which she felt was really what helped the most. We tried another doctor and similar results, but this doctor was more 'new age' and did prominently acupuncture, little hands-on. I've worked in Cerritos since 2004 and moved closer to work in July. After much research and a recommendation from a friend, I suggested to my wife that we try Dr. Masler. Suffice it to say we've found our 'go-to' chiropractor! Dr. Masler is really kind and his office is very modern. Despite having all these modern amenities though, he and his staff listen to what you want. My wife loves her massage therapy here. And despite her love for a more hands-on treatment, I'm sure Dr. Masler fulfills other people's personal therapeutic needs as well, judging by the well-reviewed spinal decompression machines. I didn't see it in person but judging by his website, that is a serious looking piece of tech. Maybe I'll take up basketball again so I can speed up some backaches and try the machine out, haha. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. and his staff. They are very friendly, their office is clean and modern, and they are accommodating for our busy schedule. 5 stars easy!

I got hit at a pretty fast clip on the 5 and 605 interchange a while back - so hard in fact that if you picture my truck (a 2002 Toyota Tacoma for sake of this story), the beds length was shortened almost 2 feet from the impact. Sadly, my dog was thrown from the rear seat all the way forward into the passenger footwell, but she ended up being okay after some pet acupuncture. Yes, Im serious, you can check my quick tips section for the animal hospital that offers this. Anyhow, back to Masler Chiropractic. For a few years after the accident Ive always had a nagging back pain, which I could go months without. Then, Ill do something random like reach behind me to grab something and then my back would "spasm" and it would be sore for a few days. Another thing that bothered me was my neck, where sometimes Id lift something and all of the sudden my neck would cramp. For a few hours thereafter I wouldnt be able to look upwards without a soreness in my neck. After one visit to Masler, I can say that I feel peachy. Its been almost a year now and I have yet to experience either problem. Who would have thunk that a consultation and massage from someone who actually knows what they were doing would make this much of a difference. Thanks Dr. Masler - and sorry it took so long to write this review! I will definitely be back soon. (I wrote this review originally on Yelp but just HAD to share it with my fellow Googlers, Dr. Masler and staff definitely deserve all the praise they get here.)

Dr. Masler is great! Hes rejuvenated my back and I feel like I can be as active as ever. Ive always complained that "Im getting old" and used that as an excuse when I felt like my body would give up when playing basketball, baseball, hell even bowling. I eat right and try to exercise as much as I can, but once you hit the big 40 you just dont feel as spry and invincible as before. Someone recommended me to see a chiropractor since Im active and despite what Im trying to do (stay in shape), that also puts a lot of pressure on your back and muscles in general. I was told that I could use some massage therapy and despite not having any official diagnosed disc problems, there was some strain in my back that a decompression could help with. All I can say now is "Wow". No more excuses. I also appreciated the fact that the entire staff is very nice and does not pressure you into services you dont feel you need, but their recommendations were on point - I feel physically better than ever before. Highly recommend them and personally will be a regular.

I usually cant stand when my boyfriend is right...but he was so right about this place. I didnt want to admit to him that he was right, so despite him coming here regularly, I Googled to find it so he wouldnt know I caved and wanted to see why he enjoyed his experience here so much. After seeing all these reviews here which meant to me that my boyfriend isnt the only one happy coming to Dr. Masler, I decided to write a review myself. I am happy to say that I, too, had a great visit here. I used to go to a place closer to my house whenever I needed a massage but I will be dropping by here on the regular instead. What stood out to me the most was how clean the place is, since Im a neat freak. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and I felt so much better after my visit. They give the best massages hands down, and I didnt even have an appointment, which is very convenient. Now I have an excuse to visit the Cerritos area more often, besides the awesome restaurants. Thanks a bunch everyone at Dr. Maslers.

This is a response to my review from Zhang Mohan . How dare you use the race card with me . Lets get the record straight, you come into my office coughing and admit that you have the Flu after I shake your hand. You admit that you are contagious !!! I ask you to come back when you are well and should be home, not in my office. YOU then begin cussing ,screaming and crying and ready to lay on the floor having a temper tantrum .I asked you to leave a couple of times and when you did not ,I wanted the Police called. FOUR (4) witnesss were present to see what a fool you made of yourself . Playing the race card to get what you want in life is truly not the way to grow up, and its about time you do. Shame on you!!!!

Dr. was more attentive and compassionate than any other doctor Ive seen. He listened to exactly what was bothering me (my back always feels "tight", probably because Im a desk jockey) and not only did they give me a great massage, but he offered suggestions to changes I can make to my workspace to help alleviate my back pain. It has helped! Still, considering Ill be at my desk 25 hours a day, 8 days a week, I know that Ill eventually need to visit again and wouldnt think twice about going anywhere else.

I was recommended to come here after my car accident. They have all kinds of different equipment that can help alleviate pain all over your body. I was mostly given their "shock therapy" - I dont know what it is actually called, but it had little pads that they stick on your pain areas. They stimulate the muscles to reduce the pain.

Went to this clinic and received massage therapy and chiropractic care. The doctor was great - he really knew what he was doing. I followed his recommendations and I feel much better. Nice, clean office and nice staff. Massage was great, too.
