This is a convenient location with a rural, calming feel to the setting. Most importantly, the staff are always animal/owner friendly and efficient. There is a personal feel to every visit. My dog had an illness not common in Chico, brought on by a tick bite in Mexico, that could have been fatal if not diagnosed and treated properly. Our vet, Anne Ripkee, prescribed the recommended treatment and sought counsel from veterinarians in other regions having experience treating the virus and symptoms. She called me often to follow up on my dogs recovery progress. The customer service of this veterinary team is excellent. I wont return to the "big box store of veterinarians" after re-experiencing the personal veterinary office environment again.

My dog (Banjo) and I absolutely love the staff at Evers! We have been going there for about 6 years now. The staff knows us so well and always greets Banjo like a celebrity. It is obvious that everyone who works there really genuinely cares about animals and their human companions. The vets are truly wonderful too. We have mostly seen Dr. Ripke (who is AWESOME) but even when she is not available, the other vets we have seen have all been knowledgeable, gentle, and kind. They know my dog well, and I have never doubted that she is getting the best possible care. This amazing team has kept my dog healthy and happy even as she has become a senior citizen. If you are looking for a vet in Chico, Evers is the only clinic Id recommend!

I just recently moved to Chico and needed to find a vet for my standard poodle. Two of my friends here recommended Evers Veterinary Clinic, as both of them had taken their pets there for years. I am so happy they sent me to Evers. Right after moving here my dog developed a UTI and I took her in to see Dr. Schantz. I hated leaving my vet in Nevada behind but was put at ease right away with the level of care and compassion I received at Evers. Two or three times they called to see how my dog was doing. When I had to take her back in I was able to get an appointment right away. Im very happy with the services that Evers Vet provides and the caring nature of their business.

Best vet Ive ever had. Upon the suggestion of a friend I brought my Russian blue here for his very first visit. I payed for the neutering and a little more for chipping. I got a picture of him when he first woke up with the surgery buddy Evers gave him. The picture is still on my fridge and I still have his little surgery buddy. The vets are always kind and knowledgeable. Even when my cat peed all over one of them. They took it all in stride and treated his UTI. The shot reminders are great and the treatment is affordable. I cant say enough good things about this vet. As long as Im in the Chico area all my pets will go here.

We really love going to Evers for our veterinary services. Our pups appreciate it as well - I love that the staff are always happy to see them (coming out to greet and pet them). Our pups have had a slew of issues and the staff at Evers always rise to the occasion no matter how minuscule or how difficult. After an issue has arisen they always call us to follow up which gives me one more opportunity to ask them questions (sometimes completely unrelated to what they are following up for) or get on the schedule. They care, they tell it straight, and they never waste our time. I highly recommend them to any dog or pet owner.

Ive been pleased and impressed with the staff at Evers, from the front desk to Dr. Evers herself. My pet was given a thorough examination, and tests were done only after extensive discussion of purpose, cost, and alternatives. I felt that my special-needs cat and I were respected and well-cared for, and all of my questions and concerns were addressed patiently and completely. When I took my dog in for dental work, the experience was equally positive. I am so grateful to have this locally-owned and veterinarian-managed Clinic for my fur babies--all 7 of them!

I have only had positive experiences at Evers. My cat and dog have both been very well cared for there. The staff really seem to love all the animals but it means so much to me that they really seem to love my animals! They are caring wonderful people and their use of technology for updates on appointments and needed vaccinations is so helpful. The facility is always nice and clean and they appear to have all the most up-to-date equipment. I would recommend Evers to anyone looking for great veterinary care for their animals.

I love Evers. My dogs, Koda and Jojo, also really like this vet... probably because of the treats. The staff is always polite, prompt and professional. The prices are reasonable, never have to wait longer then a week to get my dog in (sometimes even the same day), email notifications for visits as well as upcoming vaccinations and such. I feel more in touch with my dogs doctor then I do my own! This will be my vet for as long as I live in the area.

Evers Veterinary has been our vet for over 20 years, theyve cared for 3 dogs and a cat and have always been loving in their approach and offered gentle care. One of our dogs had "Addisons" disease which required monthly injections and monitoring, we feel strongly that if Dr Ripke hadnt gone above and beyond to find a reasonable treatment we wouldnt have had our beloved Sidney for as long as we did. We always recommend Evers to friends and family!

Evers Veterinary has been taking care of our cats for over 15 years. We have had nothing but positive interaction with them and could not think of going anywhere else. The staff is polite, friendly and knowledgeable. The postcard and email notification for vaccinations helps us keep our pets healthy. We feel our that we and our animals are family. We cant say enough good things about Evers.

If you love you animal/kid, and take them anywhere else you should seriously reconsider. There is not one person here who does not love my pets as I do. The care, consideration and attention to detail on each visit keeps me a lifetime customer. I would highly suggest taking your animal here. They are nothing short of amazing and will treat your animal as if it were their own.

I was always able to get an immediate appointment and the personnel from the front desk to the Veterinarian were always helpful, compassionate and made my experience with them exceptional. Ive been taking my dog Claire to Evers since she was a pup, eight years ago. Shes had numerous health issues and the staff has gone well above and beyond to make sure shes had the best care possible! Dr. Shaunce researched Claires condition and sought outside help to make sure we got the most up to date treatment possible. I cant thank them enough!
