We were recommended to go here for financial reasons... We actually have already seen other vets and different quotes and this place was the cheapest. When we made an appointment, the Vet arrived 30-60 minutes late. We let this one slip since the rates were slow and the staff were pretty decent. The vet was OK... she didnt give as much information as other vets did. She left out alot of important facts- maybe to shorten the duration of the appointment. The of our dauschunds surgery, this is where we were in a panic! 1. the staff was HIGHLY unorganized. There were lack of communication between employees which lead to a constant mix up of paper work between our dogs and others. (15 minutes to firgure out what dog was who and which procedure was going to get done) 2. When my boyfriend tried to correct one of the workers who kept insisting that our dog was another, she was rude and seemed confused until another employee came in and redeemed her. (another 20 minutes of sorting out the same issue) 35 minutes total to check in your PET. OVERALL.. THank God the Vet did a good job on the removal of our dogs tumors. BUT Cheapness has its price.. Yes it was cheaper getting it done here.. but the "worry factor" you go through isnt worth it. My advice for the cheap.. Go here once youve had your pets seen at another vet. Medications, treatments and procedures are cheaper here but the Vet are not as ellaborate and concise as others. Be ALERT.. watch and listen to everything the workers say.. They tend to be sloppy with their jobs (most but not all of them) Be ASSERTIVE. speak up, ask questions and put up a fight if you need to. They tend to remember your name, face, and pet. This way there should be less room for error.

Well Pet use to be a kind place to go to, however recently they have employed some very rude Vet assistances. I have witnessed them berating customers who have come in, in a harsh and accusatory way. The information they give is well and good but their approach comes across as threatening. People are trying to do right by bringing their pet in to be seen, why chase them away with fear? I went in to get my pet vaccinated, and because she is a small pet she cannot have two shots on the same day, so I thought it best that she have her DPHL shot first because of her condition, however the assistant just gave me some threading speech about how she could be taken from me and be put to sleep by Animal Control if she did not get her rabies shot first. Needless to say I walked out and will take her to another vets where I am treated with kindness and get her rabies and vaccines without being jumped down my throat for doing the right thing and taking my pet to the vet in the first place ??? Nobody wants to go to a place where they are going to be threatened about Animal Control killing your pet! This is either a ploy to get more money out of customers or chase them away. In addition I have been talked to vary rudly over the phone when trying to make an appointment many times as well. On the other side of it, the vet whom I seen when my pet was sick was kind and attentive with her and me. I may also mention she was a fill in vet and I highly recommend her and would love to know what other offices she works at because I would gladly have my pet seen by her again her name is Dr. Pieper.

May 9, 2009 I had a difficult situation on my hands with an abandoned elderly cat that no would take in to help find him a new home.. everyone I called said they would put him down after 24hours. That was not an option for me, so I found a pet Sanctuary in Wilton and they said they would keep him there to live out the rest of his years..and that they had a no-kill policy... but that I needed to have tests done and shots before bringing him to the Sanctuary. I called Well Pet in Pittsburg and told them my story and they booked me an appointment the same day to take care of this wonderful cat. EVERYONE at the Clinic was very helpful and very kind to me and the cat. They were very compassionate and I appreciate that. This office is very busy... but is sooooooooo worth it. Please be patient with the staff when you go there... they truly are working as fast as they can. They came to my rescue so that I can save this cats life. GOD BLESS you ladies! You have a loyal customer and I will sing your praises to all. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!!!! Bullet now has a home that he can be at peace with and live comfortably for the rest of his days. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cathy in Concord

Keep your cats away from this place! I took my kitty there, and they just told me his condition was that he was spraying for dominant reasons. He was neutered... which confused me. They then gave me some "Special" cat food to help him with some aggression he was taking out on our second cat. They were the best of friends for 2 months and one day he just started to piddle on random things... soft things and not always in the same place as if marking his territory. I was worried, 2 weeks later and the food hadnt helped at all. We have to seperate the 2 cats at night so they dont hurt each other now. I talked to an adoption specialist about it, and she was surprised that the vets didnt take a urine sample or even a blood sample! She said she has heard this story before, and the last woman it happened to, her cat died in 12 hours. She said my cat may have crystals blocking his urinary track which is causing him pain to pee. The vets didnt bring that up at all!!! What kind of vet doesnt know what they are doing??? DONT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM!!!

Just got home from the Well Pet Clinic and felt I had to write a review, what with the disparity between the other reviews. The building was freshly painted, parking lot was safe, waiting room somewhat crowded, but people were friendly. Got there early and had to wait in line for a bit, Also waited for a room, but I was the last appt. of the day and glad to get in the same day I called. Dr. Noe explained that she had an emergency surgery earlier in the day. She was careful and kind with my dogs and did not rush. She explained in detail that the only medication that would help their eye infections was expensive. I could tell she felt badly about that. I was treated with kindness and respect from each person working there. I greatly appreciated their help and care. I feel Dr. Noe is a very trustworthy and knowledgeable person and I am thankful to have found a new vet for my four dogs.

WORST PLACE TO COME TO! Not even worth a 1 star,Yes this place is cheap but I dont suggest coming here.I went for them to see why my dog was limping, but The Main veterinarian woman is scared of dogs that she jumped when my dog barked and take in mind that my dog had a muzzle second because she was so scared of my dog (and my dog is a big baby he doesnt bite nor growl he just barks like hey stay back) that she had to "sedate him" to take an xray. And let me say the worst just keep a coming she couldnt EVEN READ THE XRAY CORRECTLY, I asked whats the Xray show "um.. I dont know it could be growing pains" my dog is still limping and I wasted 300 for them to not know whats wrong with my dog! WORST PLACE EVER
