My experience with VCA Monte Vista Animal Hospital was very positive. When calling for an appointment, once I explained the symptoms with my puppys nose, the receptionist made arrangements for my visit that afternoon. Dr. Margaret Bivens spent nearly forty-five minutes with me and Snickers, explained the possibilities for the problem at hand, recommended a treatment and a follow-up specialist, if the treatment was not successful. A week later, Snickers nose looks the best it has in nine months. During that time I had her at another Vet several times, for several treatments with no success. Because of the professional attention my pet received during this visit, I will also be bringing my other dog Hershey to Monte Vista in the future, and recommending Monte Vista to all my friends.

We have been bring our pets to VCA Monte Vista since we moved to the East Bay 24 years ago. They have been fantastic; the proof is the long lives of our pets. The dog we had when we moved here was a 45-pound terrier mix who lived to 17. Our current cat is 17 now and our dog is 16 and both have been cared for by Monte Vista since we first got them as a kitten and a pup. They are caring, professional, and efficient. I cant recommend them highly enough.

I have no issues with this pet hospital. I brought my cat in for a 2nd opinion and shes been doing great every since. The staff are very helpful.

Same here as some others...total rip off. X-ray and bandages on leg, $800 later. Total scam!
