I took my dog on Wed. April 5th. My dog was examined and had some blood work and pee test done. They told me to expect a phone call in the next 2 days for results. The next day, a doctor called and said she would need antibiotics since she has really high white cell count. I called the following Monday to speak to the doctor since my dog was not well. No call so my husband went into the office that afternoon. They told him the doctor that saw our dog would not be in til Tuesday and to expect a call then. I finally called Thursday afternoon, doctor was busy with another pet and he would call me later. At 5:55p I called back again and finally spoke to the doctor. We talked about what other options my dog had since it is a major struggle to get her to take her antibiotics. He said there are shots but would be really expensive. He told me to bring him in for another visit tomorrow. I then got a follow up call from the doctor to tell me that after looking at her labs again, she probably has something in her spleen. She feels bad and then she will feel a bit better again. I called today at 8:05a to get an appointment. They were booked and asked if I wanted an appointment tomorrow. I couldnt wait til then since she is now very sick again. They did accommodate and gave us a 5p appointment. Just realized that my son has an award/belt ceremony tonight so I called to call me if a cancellation happened. Ciara then tells me that maybe I should just come tomorrow. I then lost my mind considering that my dog is in agony and to me, my dog is back to really sick again. Through this argument, I found out that the doctor that actually helped my dog is a relief doctor. So that explains why I was never going to get a call back had I not persisted, and my dog needed to be reexamined. Had I not persisted, no one would have looked at the labs again to say she had a low red cell count and had more serious issues. The lady on the phone then said "we do take really good care of their animals she just doesnt know what happened to us". Us?!?! So I asked how we could have fallen between the cracks and she then tried to retract and said "we do take good care of their animals". I called another Vet to help my dog who cant even get up now. They asked that they get all records so that he can evaluate. I called them at 9:30a. It is now a few minutes before 11a and the records have not yet been faxed. And they take good care of their animals?

I took my 6 year old Yorkie mix dog in Saturday afternoon. She had been coughing for a week and her breathing was becoming labored. My income is limited and I was very open about that. They drew blood and took x-rays. He heartbeat was very muffled; the x-rays showed what looked like a collapsed lung and a possible infection. The doctor said a radiologist needed to look at it and he would not have an answer before Sunday. He said if I had the money he would send me to Northpointe to put her on oxygen. No one spoke to me about payment options! Sent me home with amoxycillian and a "free" steroid shot because he liked her. I had already paid $462 cash. She suffered all night. By noon the next day it was obvious she was slowly suffocating. I called but the staff was less than kind. I was told that the radiologist reads them as he can and if I dont hear by 4:00 when they close it will be Monday. I asked if they could please ask the doctor to interceed, because my dog is suffocating. She said the doctor is aware and gave me the same story again. Basically, dont call us, well call you. My brother-in-law called this afternoon when we still had not heard and got the same run around. Its now 6:15 Monday. My dog, my world, collapsed and suffocated to death yesterday at 2:30 pm. My entire family and I are in shock. Will this vet call? Who knows? Know your vet.

I just moved to yuba city. My bird needed a check up, his wings clipped and nails trimmed. He has a light tail bob from brand new carpets in my new apartment. They claimed to be an avian vet. I knew right away that the vet had no idea what he was talking about when he asked me "what is tail bobbing?" Then GOOGLED IT! Then he went to clip my birds nails with SCISSORS! He clipped one and I stopped him because he made him bleed! Now my bird wont stand on that foot! Those who know birds know they have quicks and can bleed to death if you clip their nails wrong! Most horrible experience ever! I cant believe this vet claimed to be an avian vet! I dont know how they are with cats and dogs, but I wouldnt trust them with mine just for the fact that they claim to be knowledgeable when they clearly are not!

I boarded are doges at this office. We were waiting for are new home to be completed and we were staying with friends. So in the mean time and I took them to this office. However, we had a delay and they ended up having to stay there for 3 weeks. I would call up every couple of days to check on them. They stated that they were fine. When I picked them up I noticed one of my dogs walking with a limp. I immeadiately took him up there and had him checked out. The vet stated that he has a slipped disc and he has always had a back problem. I know this is false because my dog was completly fine when I dropped him off and when I picked him up he was not fine. Then he proceed to tell him that I owe him 200.00 for the office visit. I will not be taking any of my animals to this office again.
