THESE PEOPLE WILL TRY TO KILL YOUR PET! I took my guinea pig there because she had lice and i wanted to make sure there wasnt something worse or if she needed some special treatment, this is my first guinea pig, better safe than sorry right? guess not... I figured theyd give me a spray or give her a dip or something instead they say she needs a $20 shot. So i went along with it and came back 10 minutes later when they said they would be done with this "simple procedure." They bring me in and tell me the shot went fine & her lice should start dying and falling off but after the shot while a vet tech was holding her there was a "complication." It seemed like NO ONE knew exactly what happened which is funny because there were about a million techs working that day. But apparently she got DROPPED when she "squirmed" and two of her 4 teeth were fractured so they had to put her under and trim them. They so graciously said they would pay for the surgery (note the sarcasm) but after all of that they still wanted me to pay $110 for a shot. Worst customer service EVER!! I took her home that night and for the next couple days had to feed her drugs, food and water thru a syringe. AAAAAND to top it all off she still had lice! let me reiterate...SHE STILL HAD LICE!! Basically they broke my guinea pigs face and then tried to charge me for it!!!! So tonight I just went to the Petco to buy small animal parasite spray and it is working PERFECTLY for $7!!

They put my sweet dog who was in pain because she had an infected large abscess on her face which ruptured with pus and blood pouring out in there tiny holding crate all day without food or water , they never even looked at her or had even take her outside to potty...they never called me to tell me they didnt have time to see her...I had to call them to ask what her status was at 6pm . And they said they never even looked at her. ... and she got this abscess because of their incompetence and incorrect diagnosis in the first place 5 days before ...I plan on filling an official complaint with Veterinary medical board of ca. And when I asked to speak to someone about what happened they said they had to close early for a staff meeting....and then they had the nerve to hand me an estimate for 1500.00 for the treatment they didnt do....and said come back tomorrow..I told them Hell No...I would rather pay 5xtimes that amount some where else then to have those heartless, cruel incompetent so called Doctors and nurses touch my dog again....this was a horrible act and they should be held accountable, animals cant speak so thats why they dont care how they treat them.

I have been taking my little rescue dog poodle to the Concord, CA location for the last 11 years. It has been a wonderful experience for both of us. From the first time We walked in I realized that she would receive all her shots, a yearly comprehensive exam, and a tooth cleaning, which itself costs about $750 at other area vets. Every time we visited, even for routine visits ( no charge by the way, except for meds or an occasional test for a UTI) the staff was always wonderful and very helpful. A special word for the doctors (and nurses). Every doctor I met over the years was very professional, knowledgeable and helped my dog make t to 15 years old.. in recent times i was especially impressed with Dr. Quorino.. Last Saturday Missy was euthanized and Dr. Williams was also very compassionate. So, dont believe the negative reviews. Most of those people may not have wanted to join the Wellness plan, which has amazing cost savings and pays for itself in reasonable monthly payments, and may well save you pets life, and insure longevity. I recommend it highly.

I took my dog in to have a tooth pulled. Very expensive to say the least! About a month later I took my dog to the pet smart groomer to get her nails ground and teeth brushed. They said her rabies is out of date and cant do it. Walked 40 feet to banfield. They tried charging me the vet visit fee plus the shot fee!!!! Bad business! That should have been brought to my attention when I was already paying over 500 for the tooth! Plus side, Banfields are all over the country if you travel. Down side, they are way over priced and try to push the he monthly payment BS for a health plan! Stop being stupid Banfield! Charge for what you do! That tooth pulling,,, $200, a month later when the shot expired,,, that should have free cause it shouldnt have happened!! I am Todd Bradley and this was the Concord CA branch

Convient hours and days. Excellent caring staff and Veterinarians! Affordable. Can pick your Primary Vet. Wellness program is a value. Can make online appts and monitor online pet records. They have MANY locations too so good for travel. Cant say enough!! Any posted reviews that are negative Id question if they are real customers. My husband has been a BANFIELD person for way over a decade a d introduced me to their program when we adopted our first pet together. I can only say that I wished I knew about them earlier. Would have saved me money and grief. My previous cat specialist went over board, over charged and over treated. I find many private practices dont even know about the best insurance to use and are detached from the process. BANFIELD has their own wellness program and its worth it!!!

I dont know what these people below are talking about but Banfeild Pet Hospital is awesome! Our dog Bella has had a horrible ear infection that we just could not heal on our own. So after searching we found Banfeild Pet Hospital which has been a blessing. We thought finding Dr. Smith was just luck, but this morning we met Dr. Beam and we were just as pleased. The staff is awesome and we were couldnt be happier. Thank you all for your help with our babies!!!

I used to go to four corners for years then i switched because they were getting to be too pricey. I have my dog and my cat under their wellness plan and each time I come in I save HUNDREDS of dollars, no joke. Last visit I saved over $200. Banfield takes really good care of my pets and give them lots of attention Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants the best for their pets.

Got a quote for a heart worm test & a basic check up for a dog I had just adopted. Very expensive & pushing me towards their insurance (to save money). Ended up taking my dog somewhere else for 1/4 of the price.
