Our nine year old sons Rag-Doll "Cup Cake" cat got unexpectedly ill with paralysis in her back legs. I rushed her to Del Paso Veterinary Clinic on Saturday 8/15/2015 since they opened at 8:00 a.m. and since they seen her and our pets before prior to moving to Davis. When I got her in the office, the staff did not greet us with a hello, would not wait on me while we were having a family emergency of life and death. I had to ask them to hurry to look at my sons cat right away! "Can you please help me, our cat is paralyzed" They made me fill out paperwork again and charge my card for the visit while our poor Cupcake was meowing and stressed for 15 additional needless minutes. By the time we made it to the examination room and waited 10 arduous minutes more; the vet was completely unprofessional, did not say hello and appeared to be not proficient in his field. He asked me if she breathed hard like this all the time? I stated no and that she was completely healthy up until this morning when I found her in her current state, but she was obviously stressed for being at the vet office and not having the use of her back legs. I was also stressed because he could not give me answers that I needed such as taking an X-ray. He stated that theyre only open four hours on Saturday and dont have the means to help her (Dont know what that means??) They could not help me and refunded my $40.00 and I had to return to Davis and expend another 25 minutes driving back. By the time I got into South Davis Veterinary and pulled her out of her cat carrier, she passed in my arms. Sad to think that maybe, possibly something could of been done to alleviate her pain in a timely manner and possibly extend her life! Dont make this mistake that I made going to Del Paso Veterinary Clinic. I will be posting our story on other websites and making an official complaint with the California Veterinary Medical Board.

I recently went on vacation and when I got home I noticed my poor kitty was infested with fleas and seemed very lazy and kind of out of sorts. I immediately called Del Paso Vet and they got me seen right away. I think I called around 330pm and told me to bring him right in.. It was a little hard to get to because all of the construction they have going on, on Del Paso Blvd so I was a little late. The front office staff was very friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. All smiles! Love That! The clinic was very clean and smelled good on the inside considering it being a veterinary clinic. I got all checked in and my cat got his vitals checked by the nurse. Poor Jenkins is not the friendliest cat, but the nurse was slow and pleasant with him as he growled and hissed. hahaha Dr. Khabra is extremely nice and recommended that I do a little blood work to make sure he wasnt anemic from the infestation. He also prescribed me some flea medication and put him on a special diet because of his chubby problem.. All in all my visit was fast and affordable and had the best quality of customer service I enjoyed my time. Poor Jenkins didnt! But, I will definitely return with any other ailments that Jenkins may have :)

I took my best fr iend in the world there after talking on the phone it was determined that I probably need to put my dog down because he was 12 years old and had not eaten in 3 days. I took Snoopy down there in tears and all they cared about was getting their $180 dollars before the doctor would even see him. I was hoping he would say something to talk me into trying to save him first? He didnt even bend down and touch him! I swear! He just says, sometimes its time to say goodbye ? W. T. F. That dog I loved more than my step dad who just died. I was hoping for a kind word but just because I had to scrape up the money on 2 cards which broke me, he knew no more money for him! I would have paid anything to keep my dog! Snoopy was walking fine, jumping in the bed and car fine, etc. I now live the guilt the rest of my life. Was it only a upset tummy, heartburn I will never know? Just that I may have killed my best friend forever. Rest in peace Snoopy I am sorry and will never forget you!

Best prices I have found in the Sacramento area, I especially appreciate the fact that they are not part of the VCA chain, which seem to focus primarily on profit. The Dr. is knowledgeable, efficient and cordial. The clinic is clean, and though the waiting room is on the smaller side I would guess a newer building would raise the prices! They also have an adjacent building for grooming. My dogs dont require grooming but I would imagine that the prices are reasonable there as well. I would expect that some customers could find the two services in one lot convenient, one stop shopping if you required veterinary services and grooming services. This is the veterinary office I recommend to anyone in the Sacramento area. I recently moved to El Dorado County and still make the trip to this clinic often.

I took my 2 rabbits to Del Paso to be spayed & neutered because I called around and it was the cheapest. Unfortunately, they didnt have the best service. My rabbits nails were not trimmed well, my girls spaying incision should have been glued because its better than stitches, they didnt care about her chewing on stitches or being uncomfortable in her very tight head cone, and my rabbits were not handled very gently or attentively, which my other vet is great at doing. I suggest spending the few extra dollars on better care for your pet(s).

We have used Del Paso Clinic for many years. We started with Dr. Ball and now Dr. Khabra. The staff are very caring and take good care of our animals. Before any tests and procedures are performed Dr. Khabra goes over the details and cost. Good veterinary work costs money, as far as prices at Del Paso Vet go they cost a little less than most other places but the quality of work is excellent. The office and clinic are clean, well lit and orderly, the staff are well trained. Overall I am very comfortable taking my pets Del Paso Clinic.

I had a terrible experience at this hospital. my dog was hit by a car and a friend of mine took him into Del Paso Vet Clinic. I was at work at the time and in my position I cant take off work or take personal time at work. They call me with my dog SCREAMING in the background while they proceed to ask me who will be paying and can I come down to the office so that way basically they could begin to save him when they got their money. BLOOD SUCKERS!!!!! My experience was so terrible I would consider called channel 3 News.
