I notice that this place have some many good reviews, so I thought to myself one day, why not give it a try. So weeks later, I actually had the strength and courage to try to call them. Side note, never once in my life call to book an appointment for dentist, I usually go in with family. So I grab my phone and call. This lady picked up. Told her Im a new patient and would like to make an appointment. She told me Ill have to make my appointment in 2 months. Im just like okay(?). Didnt like the way she talk at all. She talk to me as if Im an animal or someone she once had beef with. In the middle of a convo, try to keep my mood good and try to ignore the fact that she talks like a total BTCH. Trying to ask her a question, but instead, I guess she was tire of talking to me. So she said Okay Buh Bye. So Im like okay cool. No hard feeling, I know that you probably been through a lot of patient calling you or you must of had a bad day, but you aint gotta talk to me to like that. Especially toward new patients who is in need of a dentist.

I cannot recommend Dr. Tommy, and Lindsay highly enough. They genuinely care for patients and go above and beyond to make you feel at ease. I am, unfortunately, more susceptible to nerve sensitivity than most. Dr. Tommy is patient and just keeps applying numbing agent until everything is good to go no matter how long it takes. Unfortunately for me it never becomes truly numbed all the way, but Dr. Tommy sure goes above and beyond to get me as close as I can get so that I can grit my way through the rest. Lindsay, is always very sweet, patient, and again genuinely caring. I recently had my final visit for a most protracted root canal saga and they did a fantastic job of getting me through that unpleasant experience with very minimal discomfort. Do yourself a favor and call Nelsen Family Dentistry!

This was my first visit to Nelson family dentistry after my previous dentist retired. They were friendly and efficient and their treatment rooms were spotlessly clean and well laid out. For this first visit I had x-rays taken and got to meet John Nelson, Who insisted I call him John. He performed an examination to determine any immediate dental needs, explaining everything he was doing as he went. I was quite impressed with the whole show there. From what I have heard from my friends who have been treated by the Nelsons, I can anticipate top quality dental care for years to come :-).

I had an amazing experience here. As a broke college student with no $$$ I called around and at every place except at NFD( Nelsen Family Dentistry) the receptionist became extremely rude when they found out I have no insurance (the struggle) and some even flat out hung up on me. The receptionist at NFD was extremely kind and helpful. Dr. Farris was extremely informative, nice, professional, and polite. He worked with me and let me know what needed to be done and what I could do at a later time due to budget reasons. All in all, if youre a struggling college student Id recommend NFD 5/5.

As usual a great experience at Nelsen Family Dentistry. (At least as great as going to the Dentist can be) No time in the wait room as I was seen right at my appointment time. I was told it would be a long appointment as I needed two crowns replaced. They said it would take 2 1/2 hours and that is exactly what it took to have both crowns removed, new crowns made, "baked" and "installed". No pain during the entire time. Some minor discomfort later that evening but fixed with some Advil. Follow-up phone call from Dr. John in the evening to check on me was very comforting.

I am new to Nelsen Family Dentistry. I had a broken front tooth and needed a crown, desperately. Ive had crowns before, but the experience was never enjoyable, but this one was. Yes, enjoyable. Something I didnt expect at a dentist office. I found Dr. John an amazing craftsman. The crown he made for me is superb. It blends in so well with my other teeth you cannot tell its not the real McCoy. The staff are friendly, professional, and helpful. Thank you Dr. John for giving me back my smile.

I was in a pinch, I was flossing before bed and a filling came loose, I sort of panicked and the following morning I called Nelsen Family Dentistry and they got me in that same morning!! The staff was amazing and the facilities were very clean and modern (Really appreciated that part). Everyone was very professional and every part of the procedure was explained to me. Overall a very great experience. Oh and I wasnt even a patient and they got me in anyway! Definitely will be going back.

Great location with very nice facilities. All staff members are very kind and accommodating. I was a first time patient and needed to be seen on short notice. Dr. John Nelsen was very patient with me and my children that I brought, thorough and explained everything perfectly. He took his time and I never felt rushed. The assistant, Ashley did a great job and made the appointment start off perfectly. I would recommend this dentist office to anyone.

I was first assisted by Lindsay who talked with me about what to expect and helped calm my nerves. Then Melissa Nelsen spoke with me. She was kind, thoughtful, and easy to talk to. She answered all of my questions and reassured all my worries. Together they did two fillings for me today and I felt absolutely no pain. Its very unusual for me to feel so safe in a dentists office. Both are fantastic at their jobs! Im very impressed!

Staff is always friendly and absolutely love Dr. Nelson. 15 years ago he was fishing on a weekend and my girlfriend at the time who is now my wife had a work party that night and I was at lunch and bit into a burrito and broke my tooth. So I called him up in a panic and he said I cant let you go to her party like that. He gave me a time to meet and he came in and took care of me. If thats not awesome i dont know what is.

I love Nelson Family Dentistry because my family and I are always greeted with smiles and sincere pleasantries. Although some dental procedures can be unpleasant, youre always made to feel comfortable. Nelson Family Dentistry does their absolute best to treat people with respect and kindness. I would recommend this dentist practice to everyone. An excellent dental visit experience is of the utmost importance.

Everyone is so friendly. The staff have all been there for years and love their jobs. They make me feel like Im family and that I matter. When they clean my teeth they do a proper job. In the past other Dental offices have disappointed me. Also, I didnt have to wait a lot going time for an appointment. I have been searching for a good dentist for years, I feel like I have finally found one!

I have been going to the Nelson office for years and I love them all. I have never had a bad experience because they have all been great experiences. Even when I get upset that I have to get a filling, they are patient with me. Doctor John and Doctor Missy are awesome and I love my tech. I would have posted her name too but wasnt sure she would want that. You cant go wrong being a patient here!!!
