Normally I take forrrrrever to write a review, but here I am, havent even left the parking lot yet. This place deserves 10 stars if I could! So my dumbass through out my last pair of contacts thinking I had 1 more pair, I didnt. So since they had good ratings, I went in to see when they could take care of me and I was in n out in under an hr without any appointments. Maybe I got lucky, but nonetheless this was amazing. Hell I cant even do that with a dam haircut lol. The service was great! All of the staff members were nice and professional. I forget the doctors name, but he hooked me up with an extra set of contacts to try a different brand and he also hooked it up with a couple pairs of daily lenses as well (I wear monthly). I have an eye doctor in southern CA that ive used for the last 13 years and while he is great, this place was a touch better. To the staff here: thanks again for taking care of me as a walk in. You all definitely made my day 1,000 times better. Update: Minus 1 star for making me go online to order contacts. Ive never had to do this before. Annoying af

I have been going Westlake Vision Center since I was 7 years old. My primary optometrist is Dr. Yamada, but sometimes I see Dr. Chen. Both doctors are incredible at what they do and ease into transition of each part of the appointment. The receptionists are also friendly, but often swamped with so much work. With that said, the reason why I knocked off one star is the overlap of appointments with other clients. The last time I visited Westlake Vision Center, I had an appointment at 12 PM. However, I didnt actually see the optometrist until 12:45 PM when two clients that had the same time slot as me were seen ahead of me. There are only two appointment rooms, yet the receptionists overlap 2-3 people per time slot. In this case, expect to wait 30-60 min before seeing your optometrist; otherwise, you can always reschedule. Parking near the optometrist is chaotic, especially when there are other stores nearby that people tend to frequent. If you dont mind the walk, park in the parking structure on the west side behind Home Depot.

My experience was amazing. In so many ways, Id like to thank the staff at Westlake Vision Center for all the sincere help towards my first experience getting glasses. From the person at the help desk, to the eye specialist, to the manager and all the way to the doctors, this was a top notch experience. Especially doctor Rosanna Chen and Anita for their caring way of placing me with the perfect set of near glasses to my far away glasses. Id like to give them 5 stars all the way around.

I visited Westlake Vision Center last year for the first time and was very happy with my experience. While its a bit difficult for me to keep track of dates for my annual exams, I was very pleased when I received a note reminding me that I was due for my exam. This time I scheduled an appointment for my husband as well as myself. Both of us agree that the staff here is awesome, very friendly, and very thorough. We will continue to visit them for our future eye care needs.

I go because of the doctors, not the staff. While they are friendly enough, they are unfortunately unorganized and not responsive. I know, Ive been a patient for over 20 years and I have called several times following up on my own orders for contacts. The system is antiquated to say the lease, paper records, no software system in place and very, very crowded.

Dr. is thorough, the person assigned to fit you for new glasses competent and service-oriented, but the rest of the staff provide below par and outright sucky customer service. Put a pretty bad taste in my mouth everytime I interact with them. Lots of name brands for eyewear but they are VERY EXPENSIVE, even with insurance.

Ive worked with the owner, Dr. Yamada and hes great to deal with. Hes a highly skilled optometrist in the San Francisco area. The staff are friendly and competent and the location and office are great.

Dr. has a lot of assistance at the office. Negatives : very busy, took 3 weeks to get an open slot appointment on a Saturday. And parking was a headache even with such a big park lot at the mall.

I went in today looking to buy a frame for my new glasses. The sells rep was aggressive and rude, so I left.
