Stay way from this place. Scamming start from the front desk. I had my crown placed in 6 or 7 months ago. And Saturday it came off. They were closed on Saturday and I took off from work went there Monday. I told front desk “my crown came off” She look it on the computer she told me “It is a more than a year need to reexamine”. I told her “it less than a year” she goes oh yes it is”. And she told me you need a new crown. I asked her “how to you know I need a new crown?” She told me doctor stated on here (computer)”. I told her “I can not get new crown I discussed it with doctor”. Then she goes “your teeth is fractured need to be extracted”. All she wants me to pay for x-ray and examining. I told her I do not want to pay. I believe dentist did not place it properly. I have been in out of dentists whole my life. I know better. Most of my teeth messed up by the dentist. I know it was not properly installed. When crown came of it did not have any cement on side of the wall. Thats mean crown did not set in supposed to be. Cement did not seal gaps between the teeth and crown. Bacteria and food did go inside of the crown. Therefore long time I had bad breath and soared gum. And finally crown came off. I told them I paid $ 150.- I do not want to pay any more money. Because you did not do the job properly. They refused to re-cement it unless I have to pay them. I had to walk out my crown on my hand and discomfort on my teeth. If they smile to you because of for your money. They do not care about the patient. You are a commodity for them. Might be a walking zucchini.

I had dental treatment in August 2016. I payed some amount of co-payment. After a while i received a letter from my insurance describing how much they paid for me and how much should i pay for the co-payment. Then i learnt that i was overcharged $416. Then i contacted Davis smiles mentioning i was overcharged and i should get back my money. They keep saying they charged me the correct amount. We had more than 10 email conversation. Then i reported the situation to my insurance. The insurance wrote me a letter saying i will be payed back with in 10 working days. The Dentistry took 3 month with around 10 times telephone nagging to get back half the money, $208. They say this is all i should get. After writing another letter to the insurance and more telephone nagging i get back the remaining $208. My point is i had good dental treatment, but they deliberately overcharge me. When i found out that they resist to pay back. Watch out this mafia Dentistry. There is a fixed co-payment for each treatment. Look the agreement between insurance and dental provider before you sign their paper. I am sure it was not a mistake. They did it deliberately to cheat people who trust health service provider. Dont trust Davis Smiles. Check before you sign.

Dr/DDT Patel was great and the overall process and experience was pretty easy. I have UC SHIP, and the reception even looked up my insurance number for me when I didnt know it. My entire appointment lasted about 45 minutes, from a quick couple xrays with a painless standing rotating machine to the cleaning and then varnish flouride. Dr/DDT Patel was very clear, though Im not sure if he really advised me on my best options. The cleaning was quick, and then the hygienest applied the flouride varnish. It seemed like the application was somewhat uneven, but maybe that just varies per mouth. Overall, they run a smooth operation here and I wish I took advantage of my SHIP the past two years!

Had booked an appointment months ahead. Got a call a few days ahead requesting to push ahead 30 minutes. Said, no, wouldnt work because of my professional engagements and, should we just reschedule? No, assured it would work out. Today, sat and waited 30 minutes. Unable to stay, would have conflicted with my professional appointments. Worse ever, was when I informed desk staff of issue, there was no apology. They just averted gaze to computer. I had to inquire had they heard my suggestion not to overbook? They totally dismissed my loss of career based time for their overbooking. Next, we will be dragged from the dentist chair! Dont go here if your insurance offers alternative!
