I dont normally give reviews, actually this is my first but I felt it needed to be done in this case. If I could give negative stars I would. If you are seriously thinking about having work done here... dont! You will have a better time getting dental work in an alley way. I had the misfortune of having dental work done here which after completed is still causing me pain. Funny thing is that it didnt hurt when I went in. It was decided that I had to come in multiple times since the work that was needed was on both sides of my mounth and I guess I had to eat..? The first scheduled visit I was actually accused of being drunk... I should have been as it would have numbed the pain that was caused. After I thought, maybe my breath was really bad, but I dont drink so I let it go, didnt think much of it as I was in horrible pain. After I got out of the first procedure I was pressured to buy a $100 toothbrush which I did cause I was delerious from the work. It took over 2 months to get... They actually told me I had to go to a different dentist to pick it up. Then for the second appointment, which again turned out to be even worse pain, they tried to charge me for more xrays then they scolded me for complaining about the pain. Rolinig eyes and saying they cant do anything about it. So here I am, I finished the 2nd procedure a little over 2 months ago, i am still having pain only where the detist did their thing. I have fired Smile Care and went to a new dentist who was in awe of the horrible job that was done. I was thinking about a lawsuit, but I dont have the time or energy, nor do I want to spend another minute dealing with these people. PLEASE THINK LONG AND HARD IF YOU PLAN ON GOING HERE OR ANY SMILE CARE FOR THAT MATTER. A friend said they had a horrible time at the one in Fremont. Oh one last thing, for some reason this company keeps on being bought out. I think in the time I was gong here, moronically, it was sold 3 times... which means, policies change, paperwork gets lost, systems get changed... but you get the same crappy service.

when I first came into this office about two years ago it was for fillings and wisdom tooth extractions. My visit was a good one, everyone here was friendly and the wait was not too bad. When I first came in to become a client it was a long wait which I did not mind because they are having you fill out paperwork. Fast forward two years later I came back for a estimate for braces. I was able to have my top brackets put in place same day. 6 months into my treatment I came in to put in my bottom brackets on, one of my brackets broke same night. I was a little upset because I had to go through the weekend like this. I called first thing Monday morning and I was told that the receptionist could not make me an appointment to fix my bracket. I was told to wait until the ortho doctor was in the following day and that I would get a call back. Tuesday came and I didnt receive a call. I called to make my appointment and I was told the doctor was not in and would not be in for the rest of the week which made no sense. Okay so your telling me that I am paying thousands of dollars to this place and I cannot even set an appointment to fix a bracket that broke the same day and keep in mind that I was not even eating anything at the time that it broke. I asked for a supervisor or anyone in management to give me a call today. So I am still waiting to get my phone call returned. At this point I am ready to head to a different dentist. The ortho doctor is amazing and my smile is looking beautiful! I have no issues with the work that the doctor has done what has me irritated and totally put off by this office is that they have no one to make appointments for ortho patients when things like this happens. Get it together SMILE CARE VALLEJO.

I was hesitant to come to the Vallejo Smile Care, having had a bad experience at another one of their locations, but insurance was a factor, so I really didnt have much choice, and I needed care immediately. I am SO happy with the care I received at the Vallejo Smile Care. The customer service/front desk staff was professional and worked with my schedule as best as they could. Yvette was so kind, informative and patient in greeting me and making me feel comfortable. Dr. Navid is so funny and always made sure I was okay as he worked on me. I am sensitive to epi, and he was very careful to take his time, knowing it makes me anxious. That meant so much to me. And Irma is amazing too. I have a beautiful crown ... the best fitting one Ive ever received. The color is great (thank you, Irma!). The only reason I am not giving this review 5 stars is because there arent very many options for appointment times, especially with specialists and hygienists. I was told by my insurance company that specialists only come in a couple of times per month or something, and also staffing is limited at locations due to budget. Thats really too bad. I had to wait almost a month with a cracked tooth before I could get treated, and the only solution I was given was to take pain medication ... no wonder people get hooked on opiates!

I dont want to even put one star because Im so upset. I would say this is not the dentist you would want to go to if you want to be seen right away and for pain. I sat in the waiting room 45 minutes waiting for them to call me in the back, then sat there for another 45 minutes listening to the doctors and assistants helping other people that came in after me. All I wanted was to see why my tooth was hurting and wanted x-rays. I finally got fed up with waiting and went to the front desk and told them that I was tired of waiting to be seen that I have been there for over an hour and they didnt apologize only offered to schedule another appointment, i told them no and left. Poor service and help.

I went in, completely terrified I would be treated horribly due to the state of my teeth and my unnerving anxiety issues. I couldnt have been more wrong. They had me in the back quickly and never once left me sitting and staring at wall with my own thoughts. The doctor and tech came up with a workable gameplan for me and even fixed some immediate issues so I could smile again. And absolutely ZERO pain after the work was done. Ill be going back in a couple weeks to do the rest because they made me so comfortable and heard. Thank you for restoring my faith in the dentistry world and for restoring my smile. I feel almost as good as new!

The other reviews people wrote through Google are old, and Im a recent patient with a good experience. The office is clean and has several professionals, including a great oral surgeon who helped me. My brother-in-law is happy with the dentures he got there, and my sister likes her new crowns. The front desk will show you a printout of how much your insurance will cover before you even walk back to be seen. I understand their cash prices are high, so this office is a good possibility for those with dental insurance.
