I am blown away by the staff at this office -- they are simply the BEST when it comes to care and hospitality of their patients. I waited until I was through with all of my appointments to write this review, a total of three including cleaning, fillings, and wisdom teeth extraction. During my first visit for a cleaning, Sandra was extremely careful and meticulous. We updated all of my dental files, X-rays, the works. She was very gentle, especially in areas where I pointed out sensitivity. After the cleaning, I received a nice gift (mug, brush, floss, pen, etc) at the front desk before they waved me off. Second visit was for fillings. I had no idea Id need shots, but as soon as Dr. Leung told me, I let her know how terribly afraid I am of needles. She reassured me that they use a topical numbing gel, a vibrating tool that distracts from the poke, and administer the numbing agent very slowly so I would not feel it. She let me know when to close my eyes so I wouldnt have to see the needle at all and I didnt feel a thing! Kandice, the dental assistant, also helped ease any anxiety I had and did a great job. :D! Third visit was finally for my wisdom teeth extractions. Jade, the dental assistant, made sure I was completely comfortable when she brought me in. Such a sweet lady! She reminds me so much of my aunts. After I settled in, Dr. Huang introduced herself and let me know the entire process and answered all of my questions. Again, I mentioned my fear of needles and she was very patient in administering the shot very slowly. I wanted to make sure I was as numb as possible so I wouldnt feel ANYTHING......gotta make sure, you know. The extractions didnt take long at all and Im happy to report that their suggestion to take ibuprofen beforehand minimized any swelling. I went about my day and no one even noticed any difference in my face. Everything is healing up very nicely, and quickly too! After each of my appointments, the office called the next morning to check on how I was doing and that was really the cherry on top of their amazing work. They really do care about their patients and it shows. Im so grateful to have found a dental office with doctors and staff I genuinely enjoy seeing. Jenny, the office manager, and Briana, the scheduling/finance coordinator, have both been so very gracious and kind. I cant say enough good things about this practice!

Great Implant Dentist! I’ve been struggling for a long time with problems of missing teeth caused by severe gum disease. I have to admit even though I had done some research on the internet and watched several videos of patients before, during and after the procedure, I was a little nervous. Dr. Huang made me feel as comfortable as possible before and during the procedure. I felt very confident in her. I had previously seen/ consulted with two other dentists regarding to the tooth/ gum issues I had which were causing constant pain and bleeding in my gums and gradual tooth loss. They could only recommend removing teeth over time and replacing them with partials and eventually dentures. From what I know about partials and dentures that people I know wear, they arent very comfortable and need to be replaced from time to time due to ill fit. I felt there had to be a better/ more modern way... Neither dentist seemed interested when I inquired about getting implants and tried to steer me away from even thinking about getting them. In my mind I knew this was the best solution for me. It was Dr. Huang who offered me the best solution of dental implants that I was looking for. I was able to walk out of her office with a new fixed set of teeth on the same day. Everything went very smoothly, with very little pain. Dr. Huang kept very close to the scheduled time even giving me time for short breathers. After the procedure was done, I am very pleased with the look and feel of the new teeth. I only wish I had met Dr. Huang earlier. Now Im able to smile again and I do feel much healthier that the issues with my gums have been finally addressed. I can also interact with people again without being self conscious about my missing teeth. Dr. Huang and her team are great! Dr. Huang is always helpful and available by phone or email if I had any questions or concerns. I would definitely recommend her(actually I did to my mom). My mom is also very happy with the care shes received from Dr. Huang. For me, getting implants are a great alternative to other/ older solutions. I wouldnt hesitate to do it again and highly recommend getting the procedure done to anyone struggling with severe tooth/ gum issues!

Best dental experience Ive had. Very professional and nice staff! It had been 1.5 years since my last dental cleaning and exam at a different office (yes...much longer than it should have been...). My experience with my previous dentist always felt uneasy and not very personable. It is much different with the exceptional care and professional staff at this office. First off, scheduling an appointment here was simple and straight forward. The email and text message reminders for my appointment is much appreciated as my busy schedule makes it difficult for me to always be on top of my appointments. Today was my first visit to this office and upon entering, I was greeted kindly by the receptionist (Brianna). After a brief wait (I was early to the appointment), one of the assistants (Jade) proceeded to show me around the office and introduced me to some of their fancy gadgets. It was a different experience as my previous experiences at other offices only included a quick cleaning followed by payment, again not much effort in customer service. Here, I appreciated the efforts to make my first visit experience more personal and informative. After the formalities with xrays, photos, ect., I met Dr. Huang who proceeded to explain in detail everything the photos and xrays showed about my teeth. Her explanations were simple to understand and didnt make me feel bad for the extended time between dental care visits. During the cleaning procedure, both Jade and Dr. Huang were constantly asking if I was still comfortable and sought to see if how I was doing. To me, this showed me they paid attention to details and really wanted a pleasant experience for their patients. The best part they were able to remove the coffee stains that I had been getting on my teeth! All in all, Id have to say that my experience here is nothing by positives. I work in a profession where the minute details and service really matters, so when I experienced the same care from those at this office, I felt like I should put in my two cents.

Dr. Huangs office is by far one of the most professional and pleasant dental/orthodontic practice Ive ever been to. And lets just say Ive had multiple dentists around the Bay Area/Sacramento (due to moving/school/etc)... AND I already had braces TWICE (before Dr. Huang). I initially came to Dr. Huang as her office was close to my work, and I was in need of a cleaning. Generally, I dont like going to the dentist and see it as a annual chore that I dread getting done. Why? because youre generally stuck in a room staring at the ceiling while someone pokes around at your teeth. And if youre lucky, they dont make you squeal in pain. Well, I have to say that Dr. Huangs practice has really changed my perspective on what your dental experience should be like. From SUPER friendly front staff (Jenny & Briana), the dental staff (Sandra & Jade), and to Dr. Huang herself- everyone always made my experience very comfortable. The staff there are personable, and really treat you like a person (not just a "Patient"). Since my first cleaning, I have gone on to getting fillings, crowns, and even invisalign here. I am very happy with my results thus far (thank goodness for insurance). The practice itself is also a more modern set-up with movie options during your procedure, text/email appointment reminders, and more. As someone thats always on the go, they are accommodating of my schedule and can always be reached via email or phone when I have questions. This is something I really appreciate! I now actually do not mind taking some sick hours off work to go to the dentist. I mean, getting to kick back with netflix while my teeth are being nursed back to good health? My sick hours are going to good use :) I highly recommend the Live & Smile Dental/Orthodontic centers.
