I paid Kittle to perform multiple progesterone test at approximately $175 per test to receive the best date to breed my dog. I paid Kittel do perform an ultra-sound to confirm pregnancy and the amount of puppies in the litter, it appears that Kittels wife performed the ultra-sound, she said that their were four puppies, Kittel stated four+, as such, I paid for a pregnancy radiograph closer to my dogs due date. Kittel stated 5-7 puppies. After my dog delivered seven puppies I thought due to paying and putting faith in Kittel all the puppies were born...my dog delivered 15 puppies, most did not make it...if I would have know that my dog was pregnant for the first time with 15 puppies I would have scheduled a C-section. I would not take a snail to Kittel...furthermore, Kittel laughed when I brought the litter in for an emergency visit as he stated "boy was I off", as I had resuscitated two of the puppies prior to my emergency visit...Kittel never apologized...IMO, if I was provided the correct medical information that I paid for, it is most likely that multiple puppies who perished would have survived. I would not bring a snail to Kittel for treatment. I transferred by dog out of Kittel "care" immediately. I am grateful to now have a Veterinarian who I trust.

Took my puppy (7 years old :) ) here today. I didnt even get one foot in the door before she put the breaks on.... but thankfully the staff was great! They were very patient with us. It took the ladies about 15 min to get my dog in the door! But they were so wonderful. They encouraged her with treats and toys and even got down on the floor with her to hug and love on her and make her feel more comfortable. The doctor was good too. Only thing I didnt like was when they write up my estimate they added many charges for things that werent necessary at this time. But she asked me about each one and just crossed them off as I declined so it wasnt a big deal. Im sure thats just their way of making sure all pets get everything they need.

We have taken our kitty to Dr. Kittel for almost three year. He had been given up by previous vets and was almost dead. We took him to Dr. Kittel who did some research and recommended a medication that saved our "Charlies" life. He continues under the care of Dr. Kittel following a recent episode at an emergency hospital. Dr; Kittle is a very effective, patient, courteous, and communicative professional. I brought my rabbit to Dr. Kittel for diarrhea, which can be a serious problem in rabbits. Dr. Kittel was very concerned and gave me advice. I immediately changed my pets diet and introduced the food that he suggested. The next day, my adorable rabbit improved. He has been fine ever since. Dr. Kittel has raised rabbits, and has knowledge of exotic animals. We are grateful to him. As a regular customer and a local resident for 15 years, I recommend his veterinary services. The Kittel family Vet was able to get me an appointment on short notice for my dog that started to develop a severe cough (they have flexible hours which is great for working individuals who cant get in until after 5). The staff was very friendly to both me and my dog. The veterinarian, Dan was very thorough during our visit and explained to us our options and provided his recommendation. I would definitely recommend the Kittel Family Vet to my friends and family. Plus its a local Elk Grove business!

Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Dr Dan Kittel takes his time to get to know our pets and is great at explaining treatment options. While my cats are never happy about getting into a pet carrier and driving anywhere, once were here, they are fairly relaxed. Overall, I am very happy and will continue to use them.

We took our 3 baby bunnies for their first checkup. Both Dr. Kittel and the assistant knew a lot about bunnies and answered lots of questions. The office staff is professional and friendly. The site is very clean and neat. It was easy to trust Dr. Kittel and his staff.

Great service. They love my pups as much as I do. Theyre also not over priced and they give you multiple options based on what you can afford. Animals arent cheap, but Kittel Vet helps ease the pain and gives great service to my pets at the same time!
