Ive been taking my cat to Dr. Chang since 2002 and my dog since 2008. I love her practical straight-forward approach. Unlike other reviewers, Ive never been charged without being told before hand or pushed into paying for things that I felt were unnecessary. On the contrary, shes often recommended OTC options for simple non-emergency situations. Dr. Chang and the entire staff really love animals and are so wonderful with my animals. My dog is very anxious and she doesnt rush the appointment. She takes the time to make my dog feel comfortable before and during the examination. The staff has always been fantastic. They are very sensitive to this being a member of our family and have helped us as we waded through various behavioral issues. I would recommend anyone to go to see Dr. Chang.

Tina Chang and her incompetent staff is absolutely the worst place you could take any pet you care about. My little girl contracted parvo at this vet and when I brought her in for treatment, Chang ran tests without my approval and knowledge and then was trying to charge me over $1000 for them. She sent my dog home with parvo and said she would be fine. NEVER told me to take her to an emergency care vet. She claimed she did not want to see her back so she did not "infect and annoy" her other pets. I spent over $4000 dollars on both my labs here for tests and medicines they NEVER needed. PLEASE STAY AWAY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS!

My dog had an engorged tick; Dr. Linda Knox was quite helpful. From the below reviews it seems that her colleague, Dr. Chang, is somewhat incompetent. But Dr. Knox was extremely helpful, sensitive to expenses, etc. She didnt do anything without my approval, and she explained all of my options in full detail. Shes quite nice. And the fees were quite reasonable. $60 for full bloodwork. Ive moved from the area, but Id feel quite comfortable taking my dog to the Animal Clinic of Encino-- Assuming Dr. Knox is in, anyway.

I cant imagine a more caring vet clinic anywhere. I originally went to Dr. Chang to get a 2nd opinion when it was suggested that I put my dog down. Not only did she not agree with the other vets but she made it possible for Zoe to spend another 5 full and very happy years with me. Dr. Chang is very thorough and leaves nothing untested before she makes a diagnosis. Her pragmatic approach is very refreshing. If you care about the health of your pets, this is the only vet to visit.

Tina Chang is the worst, most uncaring, disgusting excuse of a vet my family has ever encountered. She has no heart and misdiagnosed our pet (if she ever actually looked at the X-Rays at all). Twice. We went to a far better vet (though further). STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC AND CHANG. They DO NOT CARE about YOU or YOUR PET. She makes $$ on testing your animals... doesnt care for the welfare of your pet. SAVE PETS LIVES AND GO OUT OF BUSINESS CHANG!

I brought my dog in to this place for a standard $60 check up. Without my consent or permission they ran a series of tests which brought the bill up to over $300. When I told them I wasnt willing to pay for the absurd bill, the incredibly rude staff told me they didnt care, they would just send the bill to collections. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE, THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU ! ! ! They do not care about you or your pet, they just want money ! ! !
