Dental Cleaning for an 8 lbs dog; $878.60 (incl. x rays and blood test!); dog is healthy btw! Seriously? I have been shopping around and was able to find a dental cleaning with $163 (with out to have the dog under gen. anesthesia, which is very invasive and dangerous! - just local - like we humans do!) They are WAY overcharged! Learn from my mistakes; shop around - this place is asking you to do many unnecessary tests and procedures that for a totally healthy dog are not necessary (I agree with reg. shouts and such... but if they can find "a milking cow" as my husband stated.... === they will milk you for sure!) Sam office manager = very unprofessional and unfriendly person! Dr. Mustakas, blood sample compromised; need to retest ... but I have to pay!!! REALLY - so you got a bad sample and ask me to please to bring the dog in to get another sample ... but pay again?! (Are you nuts?!).... she was with my dog for 2 min or less.... I had no feeling that she should be a vet... (Nor does my dog - red miniature poodle) Dr. Kitchen.... a WONDERFUL vet.... TOTALLY recommend her IF you really have to go this VCA on Venice Blvd. (I will miss her... I already switched my dog to a different hospital... with better prices and more friendly.... to my pocket!) Front office staff = very nice and friendly (too bad they have an horrible office manager!)

Ive been going to VCA Venice Boulevard since when it used to be called PetVille. It was also a VCA Animal Hospital. I have been going there with my animals for nearly 20 years. I have had wonderful veterinarians over the years and was heartbroken when my last vet left, Dr Robert Goldman, who was really special. He recommended that I continue on with Dr Farrar, and he really knew what he was talking about. Ive had several appointments with Dr Farrar and she really knows her stuff. I found her to be professional, patient, and kind taking the time to answer all of my questions and answer all of my concerns after my dog Layla had to have a biopsy. They have a wonderful office manager named Sam who really goes the extra mile and great office staff. And the techs are great as well. The bottom line.....they love animals there and they show it!

Avoid this place at all costs. After coming back from a skin tag removal w this vet, our cat started acting entirely different. He no longer sleeps with us, flinches when people approach (he used to greet everyone, very social). All signs point to something that he experienced at VCA. It has been 4 months since the incident, and we just miss our little guy so much. They have some outrageous pricing and continually try to up sell you on products you dont need. Please do not risk your wallet or best furry friends personality by coming here..the money will come and go, but theres no way to get our old cat back, even though hes still alive and healthy, and its heartbreaking.

Has caring doctors and medical technicians, can usually see patients on a days notice, pretty thorough and reasonable cost. They do not work with online pharmacies since recently changing policies, however, and make patients come to the office to pick up paper scrips, which can add days when you need meds for your pets and dont want to pay high clinic rates. I prefer doctors who will fax prescriptions directly to web providers, saving a week of mail delays.

I have been taking my senior dog here for a few years. The space is very clean, and the entire veterinary staff is very caring. They take the time to answer all my questions, and are flexible with same day appointments. I have put my full trust in them to take the very best care of my dog. The hours are great, including being open on the weekends. Convenient parking, with a friendly staff and caring nature make VCA Animal Hospital stand out.

Such a wonderful place to trust in the care of your four legged loved ones!!! They take such wonderful care of our kittens, believing that a trip to the vet can actually be a positive and rewarding experience. We saw Dr. Erin Evans, and she, along with all of technicians are incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, and loving. I absolutely recommend this place for all of your pets health care needs:)

The staff is very friendly and always welcoming. Work done here is always done in a professional yet kind manner. They are on top of their game and if you have to leave your pet for care an update always comes via text. The offices and front lobby is always clean and open with lots of sunshine and adding they always have coffee and water to offer and treats for the fur babies to try.

Great staff, but the wait time to get into a room or pick up a pet is a bit long. Other then that, every thing is great and the staff really care about animals. Update: Took my Nova in for teeth cleaning. I was worried about how my skittish girl would be, but the vets here are careful and work slowly with the animals to make them more comfortable.

The facilities, staff, and doctors are absolutely amazing. We take our cats and dog here for everything. We especially love Vet Tech Linda and Dr. Farrar, but everyone is incredible. We have a special needs dog who is always treated with care and tenderness. Easily the best animal hospital weve used in LA.

I have been to this vca location twice now and both visits have been great. The staff and the doctors are very friendly and knowledgeable. They dont pressure you to choose the more expensive treatments and recommend cheaper alternative.

Brought my puppy in Saturday for examination and Christy the tech was awesome with our puppy. Every thing went very well and smooth, so smooth had to get my pup a doggie treat from the Dog Bakery next door. So awesome!!!
