My rabbit would have been 6 years old today "easter 2011" if i had not taken her to Studio City Animal Hospital. she was having a issue with spurs in her mouth and needed them to be filed down (from what i know a basic issue most rabbits have) i found "Studio City Animal Hospital" like many of you ONLINE, I looked at the reviews and thought it was a good place to go based on their ratings and the fact they say they can treat Rabbits. i took my child there. Dr. ponytail looked her over said she was healthy and in fact had mouth spurs and that they could take care of it the next day, he also said they would have to sedate her to do it. "OK do what you have to do to help my bunny, please" we came back the next morning to do it, I told her i loved her one last time and dropped her off. i was suppose to pick her up that afternoon. Instead i got a call telling me Studio City Animal Hospital Killed My Rabbit. Dr. ponytail said " i dont know, she was healthy, we put her out and have been giving her CPR for a hour, but we cant bring her back, it happens, sorry. if you want we can offer you a cremation service, or you can come pick her up any time" Heartbroken and upset i picked her body up promptly. They killed my rabbit. its my fault for blindly trusting a vet i found on the net with my child. DO NOT MAKE MY MISTAKE! I know its my fault, i have to live with it for the rest of my life every Easter. i miss my bunny very much and regret ever taking her here. THEY KILLED MY RABBIT, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL STUDIO CITY ANIMAL HOSPITAL.

I’ve been to this hospital a couple of times because my boyfriend lived in the area and he needed to get treatment for his elderly cat. The parking lot was small and it took a bit of effort to maneuver in and out of it, but I did it just fine. The people at the desk looked busy, but they were really nice and I don’t remember having to wait long in the waiting area, but we did have an appointment. There was also a pretty fish tank in the waiting room area, which I thought was really cool! An Indian woman with long dark hair and glasses treated his cat, (Dr. Sima I think?). She was really patient and listened while my boyfriend expressed concern for his cat’s health. She diagnosed the cat with kidney disease and did fluid therapy on her. My boyfriend was also able to get refills of the fluid just by calling in, so that was great! Overall, our experience here was really good! The place looked clean and the staff and doctor were fast, friendly, and efficient!

I normally abstain from leaving both one-star and five-star reviews unless I feel that a place is particularly noteworthy. Im happy to leave a five-star review for Studio City Animal Hospital. I have a pet chinchilla who had a terrible accident a few weeks ago that resulted in his leg having to be amputated. The accident occurred on a Sunday when most businesses are closed. I called nearly two dozen clinics all around LA County and few were open and all the ones that were open were unable to treat him. I finally called SCAH and they told me to bring him in. They were able to treat him immediately. Its now been about two weeks and hes recovering well. All of the staff were very helpful and kind, and the whole thing went as smoothly as something like this could go.

Rude, worried about money and not my pet. After ordering several expensive tests on my animal they came to no conclusion and made accused us of deceiving them... as they dont accept payments. After $300 and zero results, they said the balance had to be paid before they would treat/test our cat further. We found the money and they then said wed need another $1000 plus to keep the cat in overnight. When told "we dont have that money" we were told "You should find it". If you love your animal, go somewhere else and find a Dr & Staff that loves animals more than money. We still dont know if our cat will make it. We have no results from Studio City Animal Hospital.

RODENT OWNERS BEWARE! Staff was nice and prices were reasonable BUT I brought my hamster in for a growth and their "rodent specialist" told me she "didnt know what it was but I could put Neosporin and if not he would be put down". They said there was NOTHING they could do! My hamster ended up having a cyst (the internet diagnosed it better than her :) and my ham drained it himself! My boyfriend then took his rat here for a huge bump on her lip and another "rodent specialist" told him "it could be anything" and did NOTHING but give him medicine for mites?? once my boyfriend took his rat to a new vet they offered to drain the lump and fixed her up!

My wife just took our 7 year old miniature schnauzer, Chloe, to get treated for itchiness & inflammation which was caused by flea infestation. She met with one of the veterinarians on duty, Dr. Mike McCleanahan, who was extremely friendly and explained everything about her condition in detail while answering all of my wifes questions. He prescribed Chloe a couple of medications and we left the office feeling much better about the situation. Not to mention, the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend the Studio City Animal Hospital if your have a pet that is need of medical care.

I brought in my sweet adult male cat, Gilbert. Gilbert is a rescue, so I dont have tons of his info but they were very helpful and kind to us. The vet and the tech were both was clearly cat lovers and were great with Gilby. The vet did a through check up and didnt immediately suggest (or push) expensive meds and gave me a number of options to help Gilby with his stomach issues. Im new to the neighborhood and recommend this vet clinic. The best part was how kind both the staff and other patients were to us. Two thumbs up!!

Dr. Lopez and the rest of the staff have been taking care of my kitten with joy and care. I went to a different animal hospital for my kittens first visit that was actually more expensive and they treat the animals out of sight in the back room. Here aside from weighing your animal most procedures are done in the room in front of you like deworming and shots. She was having a lot of stomach issues when I brought her in and we worked together to figure out a diet that would be suitable for her.

This is one of my fall-back Vets becuase they have many vets with experience treating fancy rats & mice. For years my husband & I took in Rescue rats and this hospital is very good helping you treat the endemic issue of Mycoplasma infection in the Fancy rat population as well as the effects of this disease on elderly rats. they also have a gentler method of euthansia for Rodents than most vets so if you are a Rodent owner, seek them out!

All four of our dogs, our three cats, and all the dogs we rescue, see the wonderful vets at Studio City Animal Hospital and have for many years now. The veterinarians are very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. It can be expensive but they always tell you ahead of time what something will cost and we find them to be honest about what is and isnt really necessary (tests, X-rays, etc) We highly recommend them.
