I am a patience of D. Jergensens for many, many, years, in 2001 I became a nightmare of his I went in to get (1) tooth examine that had a small chip on it, Dr. Jergensen said he had to pull it, I being a patient of his for many years believed him, he then began trying to extract the teeth it was so rigorous and hard to pull, I had so much pain it was un believable after 2 hours, I look in my mouth finally he had taken 2 teeth one that was perfectly well and my mouth look like going up mountains in my gums I today this day is still suffering my bones in my mouth has shifted my jaw is started sagging at a early age I constantly have pain in the gums and tooth area, and I am so afraid now of dentist I cant even go to one I know I need to but this experience has made me terrified especially after the damages I will never recover from, I had my teeth estimated how much to correct the damage he done I was quoted $3500.00 to $5000.00 in bridge work, think hes offered to help, no just to correct it under his office staff I am so afraid of this man.....I just suffer from this experience, please dont be fulled by is soft speaking and kind words he is a Frankenstein to me,,, its been 9 years and I am still suffering from what this man done to me my once nice beautiful smile people complemented me on is gone because of this I dont even smile because of the large opening in my mouth and the gaps as well as the pain I have... Each year the damage gets worst because how he pull the tooth and my gums, what a nightmare

Update 1/8/2013 - I have upgraded my review to good. Dr. Jergensen called me personally to apologize regarding our experience. I can certainly understand someone having an off day and being out of patience, especially with my son who tends toward drama. For that Im willing to give anyone the benefit of the doubt. I sincerely appreciate the apology. We will be giving Dr. Jergensen another visit. At least we can use the experience at home to get less argument when it is time to brush the teeth. Original Review: Not a good childrens DDS even though he advertises as such. He had no patience with my 9 year old son who was getting cavities filled for the first time. He didnt even numb the area before giving him the shot of novocain. As his mother I shouldnt have had to fight to get to my screaming son but they didnt allow me back there until I demanded it. Then the DDS walked out of the room in a huge huff saying "I dont have time for this." He may not have had time but that was his fault for not booking well. Children take more time than adults. If he didnt realize that the he had no business claiming to be a family/childrens dentist.

Ive been going to Dr. Jergensens office my whole life. I wouldnt trade him in for any other dentist. His office is fantastic! Ive always been happy with his staff, I love it that a hygienist cleans my teeth first followed by the final exam... And everything beyond a cleaning, of course. I hear of other people who have always had the dentist clean their teeth and that just seems crazy to me. Are they really getting a good cleaning? Does a dentist who is too cheap to have a staff really have time to give your teeth a good cleaning?! Really? Did I mention he sings to you? He humms really. Who new you could feel comfortable and relaxed in a dental chair?! I really do feel like Dr. Jergensen believes in quality care and a quality experience. It will be a sad day when or if I move away and have to find another dentist.

Going to the dentist was always an awful, painful experience for me. The dentist I had prior to going to Dr. Jergensen, gave me gas just to clean my teeth. Dr. Jergensen has done root canals on me and never have I had to use gas. He is THAT GOOD! I first got his information from 1-800-Dentist, way before the Internet and have been going to him for more than 20 years. I have recommended people to him because he is a great dentist. Once I had a filling (filled by another dentist) come out and Dr. Jergensen offered to come into the office after hours and take care of it because I was in pain. When was the last time someone offered that to you?

I didnt want to switch from the pediatric dentist I had been seeing my whole life to an adult dentist, but when the time came a few years ago the switch was easy with this dentist. The entire staff is always very friendly from the receptionist to the hygienists to Dr. Jergensen himself. I know no one enjoys going to the dentist, but this makes it as pleasant as possible. Rescheduling an appointment is easy, everyone is professional, and I just have nothing but great things to say about this office.

Dr. Jergensen has been doing my dental work for almost 20 years. When I moved to Texas, I would fly back to Fairfield to get any major dental work done because its so hard to find someone you can trust. Dr Jergensen is professional, personal, and most importantly does excellent work. Ive had him do 2 crowns, a root canal, and many cleanings and fillings, all of which have given me no problems.

Dr. Jergensen is a true professional. He always takes care of my teeth in a timely organized manner. I feel that if my mouth was a car, he would be the best mechanic to bring it to. He was a good bedside manner and I feel he is always vigilant in looking out for mine and my families dental health. He also has a friendly and knowledgeable staff.

First let me state I’m 68 yrs afraid of dental office, except Dr. Jergensen, I found him to be the very best. Dr. J has patience that I thought was lost when it came to patience with me. His staff is also the best.
