Id like to share our horrible experience with Alamo Family Dental Care/Unlimited smiles LLC on the corner or Nut Tree and Alamo. So my family was due for our teeth cleanings and we thought our regular dentist in Fairfield had retired but it we found out later it turned out he had moved his office to another part of town and was closed for a couple months to do so. So we had seen the sign on the corner of Nut Tree and Alamo that read "$0 teeth cleanings" and underneath "for insured patients." I called them to get the details. And the lady on the phone said yes it was true. and they accepted our Insurance (Delta Dental) so we set up teeth cleaning appointments for the entire family. The day of the appointments we went in and my 3 year old daughter was seen first. the Dentist was very rude. Didnt introduce himself to us/her, was not friendly at all, didnt tell her what he was going to do beforehand so she wouldnt be scared and just not what you would expect from a dentist who is dealing with little kids/zero bedside manner. Then my wife went in for her cleaning. I went and picked up my step son a half hour early from school and returned to their office. They took him back and did his X-rays then came out and told us that they could not do his or my teeth cleaning that day because the "lady who does the cleanings was now off." This was at 3:15, mind you my appointment was for 4pm and my step sons was at 3:30. And was the whole reason for the appointments. They asked me if we could return the following day. I was a little irritated but agreed to come back as i was off work the following day as well. I decided to ask again (for a second time) about the $0 cleaning sign out front. And the office manager said we did not qualify for that because we have a small co pay with our insurance. I told her that that is not what the lady on the phone said, she had verified yes the teeth cleanings would be free because we had insurance and i told her that is also not what the sign makes it sound like. She said i know people are upset all the time about it. So i said that is super misleading, if a patient has insurance and Doesnt have a co pay wouldnt the teeth cleanings be $0 anywhere they went? She said "well... yes." I said that is not right. She told me OK well what she will do is make this first initial visit of teeth cleanings free but for any future visits we would have to pay the co pay. Irritated i said thats still not right, but made the appointment to return the following day with my step son. She also said we need to schedule my wife to have 3 cavities filled. So we scheduled that appointment too. I went home and was just stewing over the whole situation and eventually cancelled the appointment for the following day. My wife was able to get in contact with our old dental office (whom we loved) and found out the dentist hadnt retired he had just moved. We made an appointment for myself and my step son with my good dentist and scheduled my wifes appointment with him later the following week pending Alamo Family Dental Care sending her x rays to our old dentist. Well Alamo Family Dental Care never sent the x-rays over. (still havent and this was 3 months ago after multiple calls requesting them) so our dentist didnt want to have us pay for x rays twice so he took new x rays but billed it differently so it was fully covered by insurance. When we got the x ray results we found out why Alamo Family Dental Care didnt want to send over the x rays... They told us my wife had 3 cavities that needed to be filled.... She had ZERO cavities. Alamo Family Dental Care/Unlimited smiles LLC in my opinion are scammers. Look at Yelp reviews (1.5 stars) read those reviews. STAY AWAY!

Alamo family dental care does not deserve any stars at all. They are all about the money. My mother is 75 years old the dentist they told her that he would pull out her top teeth keep her bottom teeth make her dentures for the top. My mother had an appointment this morning 4/5/16 @ 7 am . I took the day off work for this appointment. We arrive on time we waited 30 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, the unprofessional receptionist finally called my mother and told her that she needed 8 crowns which are $750 each and she needed a bridge on her bottom teeth. They told her at her first appointment that her bottom teeth were fine. This dentist office is out to make money. I was talking to another patient in the waiting room about her experience with this dental office she said that the wait is very long on Thursdays and Saturdays because its poor people day. Thats a shame we are all human beings. The unprofessional receptionist told me she could give me a copy of my mothers x-rays, she went in the back for another 20 minutes. She gives me a Xerox copy of my mothers x-rays (REALLY WHO DOES THAT). PLEASE DONT MAKE ANY APPOINTMENTS WITH THIS DENTAL OFFICE THEY WILL LIE TO YOU AND THEY TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SENIORS FINANCIALLY. I just learned that alamo family billed my mothers insurance for a cleaning that did not take place.

THIS PLACE SUCKS! The lady who was doing my X-rays here was inexperienced, she had no idea what she was doing. She kept leaving me in the room to go get someone to help her with the X-ray. After I got the X-ray the dentist told me I have 13 cavities!!!! WHAT!!! At this point I didnt believe this lady. If anything I only had one and there was nothing in the world to stop me from thinking that... But my mother believed them and scheduled a appointment for me to get my so called cavities filled. Once we had booked the date the lady told me I had ALOT of some sort of bacteria on my teeth .and I needed this prescription toothpaste to help get rid of it. So I go up to the counter to tell them what pharmacy to send it too. The person at the counter told me they dont have a toothpaste but they do have a mouthwash that would do the same thing. If it where up to me I would have walked out right then and there... But it wasnt

Accepted my liberty dental but then recommend crazy expensive crowns. Quote for around $3K for two gold crowns. Went to All Smiles and they took the insurance and honored the prices. Did not try to sell me some speical kryptonite crown. Just 2 gold crowns with root canals and buildups ended up just over $1K. Did have to go to fairfield for root canals as my roots were very twisted. Dhaliwal at All Smiles was honest and referred the root canal to specialist. Alamo Family also sent me a bill for $185 for a 5 minute look by their dentist to tell me I needed $3K in crowns. Went in to office and they waved it but then charged me a $10 missed appointment fee for my kid. I cant remember if I made and app or not so ended up just paying it. They had an older guy with a beard along time ago who I liked. Now they have salespeople trying to sell you dental work you dont need. This is just my opiniion.
