I would strongly recommend against ever going to this office for dental work. I went to this office originally because I had a severely infected molar. They sent me home with some painkillers and a prescription for strong antibiotics and I was to return this past Monday to have the two problem teeth removed. I was told by the person in the office when I made my appointment to come back that it shouldnt be any problem to remove both teeth at that 1 appointment. I asked her if there was anything else I needed to do and she said just take your medication and come back for your appointment. I went back for my appointment on Monday, and was told that they would not pull both teeth, only one. That upset me but I decided it was better to get one tooth taken care of rather than none and after waiting for 40 minutes the dentist came back and told me that I had to be pretreated and so I was going to either have to wait another hour or make another appointment. I had already had my partner take the day off of work to drive me and we had traveled from Vallejo to Fairfield to get this taken care of. I am already really really bad with dental work (super bad anxiety), so it upset me greatly that the dentist didnt pay enough attention to my chart to see that I had had a former heart murmur which had been corrected with surgery years ago. She refused to treat me unless I was pretreated with the same exact antibiotics that I had been on for a week and a half. I had to get back to Vallejo to pick my kids up from school so the entire day was a waste. I expressed my displeasure with the situation and left. Before I went in for my appointment Id signed a release for my dental records to my regular dentist in Vallejo who had not been able to get me in for an appointment quickly enough. Today is Friday, and its almost 5 oclock, and my dentist has still not received my dental records. I was assured that my records would be sent by the end of day on Tuesday. I called this office and after waiting for an hour on hold I was told by a woman that my records had been sent. I told her that my dentist and not received my records and ask her to confirm the email address and resend them. They obviously dont know what theyre doing in that office, they do not pay attention to their patients or their records, and do not place any value on the time of their patients. Just because I am on denti-cal doesnt mean that my time isnt valuable. Unfortunately there are not many good options for those of us on denti-cal but this place should definitely be avoided at all costs. UPDATE 2/17/16: THEY STILL HAVENT SENT MY DENTAL RECORDS TO MY CURRENT DENTIST EVEN THOUGH THEY CLAIMED TO HAVE SENT THEM TWICE!!!

UPDATE: I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO TRANSFER MY DAUGHTERS ORTHO CARE TO A DIFFERENT OFFICE FOR 3 WEEKS NOW. EMMA WHO IS CHARGE WITH TRANSFERS DOES NOT RETURN CALLS.. I HAD TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER, WHO I FELT REALLY DIDNT CARE AS WELL.. THEY TOLD ME THEY WERE WAITING FOR CORPORATE TO COMPETE AUDIT.. I FINALLY DECIDED TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE WHO TOLD ME THE WAY THEY ARE SAYING THEY DID IT IS ALL WRONG.. SO BASICALLY THEY LIED TO ME..THEYRE LAZY AND DONT CARE ABOUT ANY OF THEIR PATIENTS. I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BETWEEN THEM AND THE BILLING DEPT, THEY GOT THE "AUDIT" DONE IN 10 MINUTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Went in for braces consultation for my daughter.. I liked the price and they even said they could start her braces that same day... which I thought was GREAT! BUT when they say they can start, they only glue brackets on - which I wasnt told that was all they were going to do...We had to schedule another appointment to actually start the rest of the work... I thought OK, no big deal right... but EVERY apnt was a headache!! Then I realized, they tell you they can start on your braces same day so you cant back out because - WELL... you have brackets on now.... I dont think Ive had one pleasant visit yet & its been over a year.. Just be prepared to wait at least 45 mins minimum past your scheduled apnt... There is one staff member in particular that I can not deal with because she is SOOO RUDE.. she never smiles... Looks MISERABLE all the time ... Wish I knew her name I took my son for a dentist apnt on the same day as my daughters 1st ortho apnt and OMG!!! We waited 1 hr on the waiting room & took 2 hours in the exam room just to take xrays and to tell me his teeth looked great! Unbelievable... My kids now go to a different dentist but sadly we are stuck with Western Dental for my daughters braces until shes done ...

DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY DENTAL WORK!! THIS DENTAL OFFICE DESERVES NO STARS. They overbook people for appointments and have you waiting hours for a simple cleaning. The office women in the front could not find my file from last year, and had me fill out new paperwork. They had me wait 2 hours to get X-rayed! After getting X-rayed, I waited an additional hour on the chair before I pretended I had to be somewhere at 2 (mind you, my appointment was at 10am), and the doctor ridiculously asked, "Did you want to reschedule?" then I replied, "NO, I dont want to reschedule, its been 3 hours I want a cleaning now". After I said that she finally rushed to my side. Complete lack of respect for peoples time. After I questioned the doctor about my lost files, she said she found them, and told me that I was a month too early to get my cleaning done ( a cleaning is done once a year instead of every 6 months now). So I WASTED 3 WHOLE HOURS to get DENIED a cleaning. I was livid. The woman just apologized and I reprimanded the office women for doing a horrible job. I called Corporate and they said theyd get back to me. Never did. So, I opted to let everyone know to not waste your time here. Seriously. This place needs to close down.

This is the only place that took my dental insurance (which i no longer have) and they F-ed my teeth up. I needed fillings - so they gave me fillings. Within a year they had all fallen out, cracked and I have lost almost all of my bottom teeth. Last time I went there, there was a dentist lady working on the patient next to me and it looked like this "professional dentist" was hopped up on meth. She was twitching and held her head to the side and had all the effects of being on meth. I do NOT recommend Western Dental in Fairfield to ANYBODY! Its better to pay a higher price somewhere else than to lose all of your teeth by them messing with them. My teeth were fine (besides a couple cavaties) when I went there, and now, Im desperatly in need of dentures that I cannot afford. DO NOT GO HERE PEOPLE. ITS A TRAP!!!

Worst dental office ever! I had an appointment at 12 pm. I showed up 15 minutes early and got called to the back after waiting 2 hours and 30 minutes. Only to sit after I had the x-rays done for another hour. Dentist came measured my gums and I still waited. Asked what was taking so long she said they were verifying my insurance and the cost of what I needed to pay all for a cleaning and whatever work was being recommended. Ive been at this office for a total of four hours and counting and I still havent received my simple teeth cleaning. The exact same thing happened in January when I came but I decided to come back. I will never step foot inside this place ever again. Customer service deserve ZERO stars. Staff has attitudes when you ask how much longer. This entire office needs ZERO stars!!!!!!
