Ampla Dental methodically cancelled *every single appointment* of each and every member of my family, one at a time, over a period of almost 2 years. So at this point, NO ONE in my family has been a dentist in two years and there is no one in Chico who will take Medi-Cal. Dr. Siri is a nice doctor, but he/they should have hired someone to replace Dr. Vang ASAP. By the way, hes still listed as a Chico dentist on your website even though he left at the beginning of this summer and its almost October of 2015 now. Ive also noticed that if you know the tattooed girl at the front desk, a person can get an appointment easily and when youre physically in the office, you can be seen before anyone else. If you dont know her or if you dont fit her criteria, then youre SOL. My review will do nothing though, because the entire Ampla Health System is run by the same people and if you call to complain, they will take your complaint with a grain of salt. They are the ONLY options for anyone with medi-cal.

The worst dental care imaginable. 4 fillings that failed and have to be redone. One requiring an extraction and another requiring a root canal. Sealants have to be redone as well because they failed too. All of this on a child!! I wont even get started on the Novocain shot that went into my eyes and gave me blurred vision for 30minutes. DO NOT GET TREATED IN THIS OFFICE!! I am spending $2000 to have their failed work redone by a professional dentist. I will pay cash any day, all day, to have my child treated with the quality care that everyone deserves.

Bad experience for me. I was given a dpctor who i guess i cant say hia name who doesnt care about his patients. Just cares about how much money he can make off his patients. When he doesnt figure hes making enough he will just drop you as a patient for no apparent reason at all. Thats what happened to me. I was left with many questions. I was always very nice to him and kept all my appointments. Also getting into this facility can take many months to get an appointment. The doctor i saw was hindu from India. I do not recommend this place

I stopped going here because of all the crap they pulled. I got many teeth pulled here, but when it came time for dentures they told me I had to have a partial because they refused to pull perfectly healthy teeth that I *wanted* gone so i could get a full denture. And when they gave me the partial, it didnt fit right and rubbed my gums. I switched to Western Dental, which I suggest for anyone thats on Medi-cal like I am.

These guys are awesome! It seems impossible to get an appointment sometimes, but you just need to be very persistant. Call everyday within the first half hour of opening even if they told you that youre on the waitlist for a callback. Other than scheduling, they are super friendly and will try to help you to the best of their abilities. Love the desk ladies ❤.
