My father was a patient of Dr. Eslami and had several visits. He performed a double hernia surgery on him that took 15 minutes. My father informed him before that his mesh from a different hernia in 2009 was recalled. After the double hernia surgery, Dr salami said there was no mesh in his belly button, where it should be. He did not think this was unusual at all. We went back for follow up appointment and my father Informed him that he was still in pain and something is wrong. The doctor said nothing is wrong and sent us on our way. Another follow up appointment and my dad says the same thing. The doctor told my dad there is absolutely nothing wrong with you, youre not healing because youre smoking cigarettes, and not to come back to him again. He has developed severe anxiety and depression because of his chronic pain, that the doctor ignored. After several emergency room visits and a lot of pain, we found out he DID have another hernia and the recalled mesh is in his stomach somewhere. Dr Eslami didnt touch his stomach, ask any questions or try at all to help him. This doctor is arrogant and rude, and a little lazy. From reading other reviews, it seems like if he doesnt like you, theres nothing wrong with you. Doctors should want to help, and if they cant, they should find somebody who can. This doctor is unprofessional, and doesnt care about some of his patients. Dont go to this doctor if youre a slight bit different. My dad is finally getting some help now after seeing about 4 doctors. Eslami is definitely one of the worst. I would rate 0 stars if I could.

today my son had an appointment with this doctor that we scheduled a month and a half ago for a hernia that he has had for 3 months. This appointment was a referral from his primary care doctor. While we were waiting in the exanimating room the doctor comes in and doesnt shake our hands but does introduces his self. When I explained to the doctor that my son has cerebral palsy and can not speak so I speak for him. He asked to see his hernia in his groan area so I pulled his pants down and showed him. The doctor never ever touched him or the hernia. I told him it looks bigger. He said that he does not need surgery and he could live with this the rest of his life. I explained to him that this is not normal and his doctor said he needs surgery. He said to us well Im not going to it and you can get a second opinion if you want to. Well Im not a doctor but I do know that this can happen with the hernia like you can strain them and they can burst. I really think that this doctor was discriminating my son because of his medical condition. I mean he never once touched him. This doctor is a very arrogant doctor because he went on saying how he is a surgeon and the doctor who recommended him is only a doctor and yes I will get a second opinion.

I have been a patient of Dr. Eslamis for many years , his former Elk Grove office , I had no problem with . Now that he is exclusively in Folsom I cant get anyone to answer the phone , I have left 5 messages , with 5 different people , no call back , my pharmacy has requested a re-fill now 5 times . I actually wondered if he was still in business . His office staff is impossible to work with , how can you work with someone who WONT ANSWER A PHONE . PLEASE doc , you know I love and trust you but PLEASE educate your office staff. I finally did get an answer back to an e-mail and low and behold they changed their fax # but that still does not an excuse for staff not returning calls or even answering the phone . I have lost some confidence in his staff I would rate Dr. Eslami himself at a 5 star , but not the new staff.

Ive accompanied my uncle to numerous appointments with this doctor for hiatal hernia repair. Dr. Eslami spent the last two visits stalling time, re explaining the risks of surgery and how he doesnt want to operate on my uncle. My uncle is in pain and this doctor seems to be non chalant, saying he could live with hernia how it is. Doctors are supposed to help and care for you. The doctor doesnt greet you at the door, appears as though he has just gotten out of bed and takes personal calls during our visits-TWICE. Seeing him was a waste of 6 months. Were scheduled for hernia surgery but Im switching doctors for this procedures right now. Thanks to everyone who posts reviews so I had a chance to know what my uncle is getting into (not anymore!).
