When starting physical therapy you are obviously not in the best of shape and dont know what to expect. When checking in Kim takes great care of you and handles the paperwork with ease. I was assigned to the team of Dave and Robin. They have been nothing short of excellent. Great attitudes while providing a supportive environment while designing programs to your needs and always concerned for your level of discomfort. Ive also seen the staff working togegther as a team and always assisting other patients as needed as well as asisting each other in a seamless manner.

I have been treated for the last few weeks for a frozen shoulder at Apex Physical Therapy in San Mateo, and I absolutely love going to therapy! I have sessions 2x per week. The place is a clean, well lit, open space. Everyone is warm and friendly, and the therapists are kind, gentle, and supportive. The equipment is in excellent shape and is up-to-date. Appointments are easy to set up at a convenient time. If you have a shoulder injury and live in the San Mateo area, Apex Physical Therapy is definitely the place to go for your care!

My son Tommy was having back problems and is a pitcher on his college baseball team. Apex Physical Therapy allowed him to come in on short notice. They worked on his back, and gave him a handout with exercises for him to do. Tommy said it helped him a lot and really appreciated the instructions he received how to stretch and exercise in order to avaid this problem again!

Tina was my physical therapist for almost 4 1/2 months starting in Jan 2012. I was referred to Apex and Tina by my orthopedic surgeon. Best thing I ever did. I wont tell you it was easy; you must do the work to enjoy a successful recovery from TKR but this team was the best. Highly recommend Apex and Tina.
