I have had my dogs of many years always cared for at the Animal Hospital-Huntington Beach, Ca. in Orange County.. They have had full and total care along with boarding over long periods of time. The Veternarians there are of some of the best in my area. The exam rooms are always clean, as well as their reception area. The staff almost always (except when so very busy) ready to help you with any needs you might have. The Kennels where boarding takes place it the Best, board one or two mates and they can visit each other side by side, so as not to be lonely.. They have bathing available for a small charge,depending on weight of dog (which includes nail clipping). If you want the best for your Pet, this is the place to be assured your getting the Best..

Called to make a dental cleaning for my senior indoor kitty, who has never been outdoors, the receptionist who answered started inquiring about my cats vaccinations history. I explained my cat had a rabies shot this year- which is the ONLY required California vaccination for cats. The receptionist expostulated that I needed to have my indoor senior cat vaccinated for FELV, C.pneumonitis, Distemper, Calicivrus,. these vaccines can cause Feline injection site sarcomas-CANCER.. The obvious attempt to gauge me for vaccinations my elderly cat did not need and could be life threatening is shocking to me. I suggest every pet parent conduct vaccination research.

I love the friendly and knowledgeable staff here, and the Doctors are some of the best around. Because my dog has really bad skin issues, Ive spent a lot of time trying to find a vet that could help her. Ive finally found a vet that I can stay with. Every other vet Ive seen only focused on getting rid of the symptoms. Dr. Fynaardt has helped us figure out the underlying causes and focused on treating those. Its also obvious that he really cares about making the animals feel better, and he takes the time to educate me about whats going on with my dog and what he prescribes her. AHHB is the best!

Ive been to a lot of Vets over the years with various pets and this one is THE BEST! The staff is caring and knowledgable and always helpful, even when I call with a question. When I had to choose to put one pet to sleep, the Vet explained all of my options and was so understanding and caring - I was crying so much. This was over 6 months ago, and I still remember how lovely everyone was there. I cant think of a reason NOT to go to this Veterinary office. Keep up the excellent attitude and service and thank you very much!

I had to have my Golden Retriever, Ruby, euthanized a few weeks ago. It was very, very sad for me. The staff here was extremely sensitive and kind and let me stay with my dog for as long as I needed to before letting her go. They were wonderful! A few weeks later I received a sympathy card in the mail signed by the entire staff! While it brought tears to my eyes, it was also a wonderful affirmation of their empathy. Thank you all! Renee

We adopted a small cat from a shelter in Newport Beach and I took him to be checked out by a vet. After much research on the Internet, I selected this hospital over all other options (and there were many!) I could not have chosen better! The front office staff was very friendly and welcoming. The doctors are wonderful and they do care about the health of your pet. I highly recommend this facility.

Best veterinarians around. Have referred several friends and all are extremely happy as well. They have been caring for my all my animals for 15 years or better. Top notch! Dr. Fynaardt and Dr. Anh are my vets of choice there and go above and beyond with attention to detail and the love and respect for my pets. From cancer and heart issues to regular visits!

The staff at Animal Hospital of HB is wonderful. The vets are top notch. They have the latest technology but more importantly they are caring and empathetic . They take great care of my cats and me. I have recommended them to several friends and they all feel the same way.Now that they are open 7 days a week it is really convenient.

Respectfully, I appreciate all the staff at the hospital. My only criticism is that I dont like the "up selling". Understanding that problems are not always simple and isolated, educating family as to pet patients needs is important, without making them feel intimidated or guilty. Healthcare in general can be quite an expense.

I am a caregiver to an older man and he has a dog that goes here and not ones have they acknowledge or answered our concerns. Dont tell you to give a dog medication and not give me a reason for it with the excuse that "Dogs cant talk to tell us what they have." Duh thats why people have degrees as vets not as dog whispers.

Weve been taking our dog here for 4 years upon recommendation from my sister in law. Everyone is always friendly, we board her, shes always happy when she comes out and happy to go back. We had an emergency and they were fast and responsive and made us feel at ease. Highly recommend.

It might sound like a small matter but the large waiting room makes it more comfortable and safe for the animals both human and non. The people always acknowledge your arrival and make you feel like they are happy to see you. Great place!
