I came to Dr. Berka last week with a very sick cat, having just decided to leave the care of our old vet where the care was subpar. Miranda (my cat) has the bacterial infection E.Coli, and she needs a certain medication. Dr. Berka spent time with me and Miranda. She was kind, attentive, and funny. She put me directly in touch with a pet pharmacy in Arizona to get the medication properly titrated, successfully allowing me to give less medication with the same efficacy. After she took such good care of us, she informed me that this appointment would be counted as a "recheck" on Mirandas illness, so there would be no charge for this visit. I almost fell over. I had just spent hundreds of dollars at my other vet, and she considered that to qualify us to be put in the "recheck" category as if we were still at the other place. That was AWESOME. Dr. Berka has earned a permanent new customer in me, Miranda, and my other cat, too. I will recommend her to all of my community both at work and home since her office is centrally located between the two. I would also like to recognize Dr. Berkas staff. They are very kind, friendly, and eager to help. I felt very comfortable from the moment I arrived at the office. They make a fantastic team.

This Vet and her staff are awesome. Not like some places you go to and you can tell the front office people are rude, no eye contact, just miserable. The girls are the bomb. They are so caring. From your best of times til the time in your life where you need help. They are there for us. I hope Dr Berka reads this.

Dr. Burka misdiagnosed our pet with congestive heart failure. A quick visit to his old Vet, Dog and Cat Hospital, assured us he did not have this and a proper diagnosis was forthcoming. This would have been a death sentence for our dog. Thankfully we got another opinion.
