Les than 1 star They NEVER chipped our cat. We got an entire package and paid $50/month for 12 months ($600). Supposedly that includes neutering, chip, a couple dr visits, deworming, etc. But who knows if our cat even actually got dewormed. A year after we got our brand new cat, we moved to a new apartment. We thought we lost him, we thought he snuck out on our first day. he was missing for 5 hours. I looked at my paperwork from VCA to see what Chip # he had so that I could contact all of the nearby shelters. There was a portion of the paperwork with a _____ where they were supposed to write the chip# but it was BLANK. I figured they just forgot to write it down, surely they had the # in their records. But when I called the office, they DIDNT have the chip# written down. Thank god our cat did show up (we think he was just hiding in boxes or a closet somewhere), and when i went to go get him scanned at another VCA location, they tried 2 different scanning devices and they told me there was absolutely no chip. So our cat went through the whole procedure and never even got chipped. Had we actually lost our cat that night (or if we do now), well have no chance of finding him, even though we did our job and asked VCA to chip our kitten.

VCA College Park and Dr. Sable have been fantastic! Shes very honest and thorough. The staff are very friendly. They will offer products but dont push them and provide you with options when you need them. Definitely making them our default place now!
