My family has brought many cats dogs a bird and a tortoise here for over twenty years and all the staff has been kind caring and competent. Currently we are down to only two cats. One is young and very healthy the other is 16 1/2 yrs old survived, thanks to the competent care of VCA Drs. and staff, being horribly mauled by a dog at six weeks of age, and for the last two years she has battled kidney failure with minimal cost to me since I was willing to be instructed on how to give her fluids at home. I have also found is that when a specialist is needed, that the doctors brought up the subject before I could. So when the tortoise developed liver disease, we were referred to Dr Greek in Yorba Linda, and one dog was referred to dermatologist in Tustin, a second to a canine liver specialist also in Tustin and a second dog to a bladder cancer specialist in Irvine. (For cynics none were VCA affiliated doctors, just the best in the area.) I live 10 miles from them and pass 5 or 6 other vet clinics on my way so it is not just convenience that brings me here. It is Dr Comacho, and the rest of the vets. Thank them all so much.

Personally didnt like this place. The staff was rude... I was 40$ short and got paid the next day and werent willing to let me take my dog (who just had puppies) home, ended up having to overdraw my account to make sure they got their money in full (some vets would have worked something out, but nope not them they just wanted the money). My dog got 2 oxytocin shots she did not need, they charged me for 3 hrs of her being there (she was only there for 1 1/2). A week later I found out she contracted kennel cough FROM BEING HELD HERE! This place is horrible, horrible service, prices for stuff you dont need. I wouldnt reccomened taking your dogs here because they will just become more sick than before.

There is not a rating that is low enough to give VCA Rossmoor. This morning I took my perfectly healthy 9 year old chihuahua in for teeth cleaning, which we had done 5 years ago without any problems. I received a call from Dr. Camacho 3 1/2 hours later telling me my dog was DEAD. HOW IN THE WORLD CAN THIS ANIMAL HOSPITAL AND ALL THE WORKERS LIVE WITH THEMSELVES AFTER KILLING MY DOG!!!! SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN NOW BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE HAS THIS HAPPEN. Dr. Camacho, Toni and whoever else was in the room administering the "gas" to put my dog to sleep did something very wrong. I wish I knew what it was, but it still wont bring my dog back to our family.

Be aware! I called to make an appointment for my cat s vacciantions. I was told I do not need an appointment and that i can come till 7 PM. So I get there after 40min of driving. I say that I need vaccinations. " Doctor is not here we cant give vaccinations." (silence, no explenations, no I am sorry!). I say that I called before and I was told I can come over. " I dont know who you talked to" - I hear. (just like that, i was egnored with short sentences). So, the doctor is there or not there... your luck. And the desk help wouldnt care less if she kept the client. How could you be so brainless working at the front desk? I asked for my cat s papers...

I absolutely LOVE this place, from the lobby staff to the vets, everyone is concerned about the treatment of your pets. I receive phone calls from Dr.s detailing test results to the office staff calling to check on status of my pets days after procedures occur. This facility is not close to me, but I dont mind the drive because I know my four-legged family members are being given the best care that is available to them.

My family has been coming here for years for all our pet care and consultations. I recently took a plunge and got a new puppy and the VCA staff were helpful, and courteous especially the vet. Their prices are reasonable, but definitely not the cheapest and not exorbitantly high. I recommend any pet lover to visit this establishment and give your pet the care that we as humans cherish and always seek.

Ive taken my 2 old ladies (cats) here for 10+ years. We just added a puppy and took her here as well. I have not tried another vet and probably wont. Sure, they are not the cheapest, but IMO worth it. I can always get an appointment that day or the next. I never wait more than 10 minutes before being seen. Everyone in the office is kind, friendly and compassionate.

I would really suggest this place! I tend to over react with my animals being hurt and since i came home to a limping dog i FREAKED. i rushed over to them and they helped me in a very timely manner and made my dog feel comfortable. It was def reasonably priced! i am for sure going back :)
