I got lured in by the sign advertising an hour-long massage for $25. I act on stage, which means I can end up with some strange aches and pains depending on the demands of the show, and a good massage really helps set me right. It was affordable enough to take a chance on it. Now, this is also a chiropractors office, and they do reflexology and acupuncture as well, so you might expect at that price that they would be up-selling the hell out of you, but that didnt happen to me. I booked my appointment late in the afternoon for that same evening, and the receptionist told me over the phone that I should wear "comfortable shorts" since the massages dont take place in a private room. Youre in a big room, shirtless, under a blanket, on a very comfortable reclining chair/table. They start by soaking your feet in warm water, which is a nice touch, and while theres the expected soothing music and soft dripping sounds, youre in there with about 6-7 other tables, so you can expect a mild backdrop of shuffling and whispering as others come and go. If this kind of business volume helps keep the price low, I can deal with that. My masseuse was David, and the receptionist was right to warn me that hes very strong. His "medium" pressure goes right up to the line of what some would consider hard. But his strokes were amazingly precise and confident. Hes so efficient at working you from head to toe, it can feel like youre going through an automatic car wash sometimes (again with that price/volume thing), but you never get the sense that his heads not in it. He had an uncanny way of knowing when too much was too much. Also, I had provided a guide to what areas were hurting most - and there were a lot - and he put extra work into each one, including a really tricky pain in the arch of my foot. I have been to far more expensive spas where they all-but ignored such specifics. He finished precisely at an hour, brought me some tea, and encouraged me to come back next week - and that was the beginning and end of their salesmanship. This wouldnt be the place to go if you want the traditionally-thorough indulgence and pampering. I have a place I go to for that and Ill still go there when thats what Im after. But if you take massage seriously as an aspect of looking out for your health, this gives you a lot of therapeutic value for your dollar. When my muscles need a bit of tending, Im pretty sure Ill go back.

Amazing Theraputic Facility! Chiropractic, Accupunture & Massage (w/ Reflexology) what more could you ask for!! I stopped seeing my physical therapist and started going to Hudson Wellness and what a blessing it has been. I have severe back pain and multiple sugeries and live on pain meds. If they can make a difference for me....they can improve ANYONE with back, neck or fybromyalgia pain, chronic headaches or migraines. The Accupunturist Rumiko Onishi is seriously an "phenomenal healer", after 1 visit my nervous system completely calmed down and I had a get feeling of calmness and peace. She continues to help lower my pain level with every visit. The Chiropractor Dr. Erin Hudson is excellent and uses the best adjustment techniques, has helped my neck pain and improved my range of motion with the rapid release streching she does one my low back! Dr. Hudson also has an instrument she uses which completely took away the chronic inflamation in my low back (which I had for over a year). I cant give her enough "praise" for helping me heal and reduce my pain. The Reflexology Massage is just icing on the cake, and it is one of a kind ! Anyone with -- pain of any kind -- needs to try out "Hudson Wellness", they are truely a ONE OF A KIND place for wellness and healing. I cant thank them enough for helping me to start living with less pain and improved range of motion!! They even take insurance with a minimal $10 co-pay. Leslie Spezziale from Huntington Beach

When my Chiropractor retired, I decided to try Hudson Wellness, when my back went out since it is very close to my house. I was in a lot of pain when I saw Dr. Hudson the 1st time and she relieved it significantly. I only needed 2 or 3 more visits for that issue. I really appreciated that she didnt try to set me up with an ongoing adjustment program to keep me coming back. They accept insurance, but mine doesnt cover chiropractic so it couldve gotten pretty costly for me. She is all about relieving your pain as quickly and efficiently as possible in as few visits as possible. I love that. Now, whenever I need an adjustment, I go see Dr. Hudson. I love her!
