I recently have moved to Irvine and love the area where I live. In order to support the community, I thought I would stop by the Optometry Shop to look at frames. I was looking for a specific style and was able to find exactly what I wanted with the help of Rory, the office attendant. I wanted to order the frames but also needed a eye exam to update my prescription. My only issue was I needed to have the order expedited because I was scheduled to be away and needed the glasses before I left. Rory came to my assistance again by getting me in to see Dr. Fukuda on the same day and also placed an expedited order for frames. Dr. Fukuda was very thorough, professional and kind. He explained every aspect of his exam. I felt very comfortable and satisfied with his examination. I would highly recommend the services of Woodbury Family Optometry based on my experience and the great hours they maintain for services.

This is my second year using Woodbury Family Optometry and this years experience is even better. The doctor and his staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. As a professional optical engineer and instructor myself, it was easy for me to follow the doctors explanations of all the points about my exam and the results. However, I believe that any person using this doctors services will be able to understand his very clear explanations of the exam and its results. The technician that used the automated exam systems was also very good at his job. I highly recommend using Woodbury Family Optometry, the products and services are the best I have encountered.

Dr. Ken is extremely knowledgable, patient, and has a great sense of humor. He has an excellent office and friendly, helpful staff. I would recommend him to anyone needing a quality optometrist. He does a great job of spending the entire appointment time making sure that the patient understands the entire process as well as is comfortable throughout the whole exam. Ive been to 5 different eye doctors in the past few years and never returned as I always felt like I was just another patient. Dr. Ken completely changed my perspective. The eye doctor should have the same level of rapport with a patient that a M.D. does and Dr. Ken has just that.

Talk about helpful... I went to a different place about a year ago and had nothing close to the experience I had here. I called and got an appointment right away. There hours worked out for me since I am always busy. They are open until 7pm so unheard of anymore with these eye places. They were very kind and acknowledged me as I came in the door even though the receptionist was on the phone at the time. I was in and out in an hour... exam and all. They helped me pick out some great fits in glasses that I even had a hard time choosing which frames to get. I will definitely be back!

While weve been in CA 2 years - we went back to OHIO last year for our eye check up as we were so happy there it was scary to try someone new. But this year we decided to try Dr. Ken. And we couldnt be happier! To start, the office staff was very helpful in setting up our appts. and we were pleased with our techs on arrival. And then seeing Dr. Ken, we were very happy with his attentiveness, guidance, kindness, explanation of tests, understanding of our eye health and recommendations. We will be patients of Dr. Kens as long as hell have us!

The office is very clean and professional, most of all very kind! It is a comfortable relaxing office. It is easy to schedule appointments and they have worked with the insurance and billing needs for us too. We have always felt like we receive the TLC when we visit the office. Absolutely 0 star for the extremely poor staff. After confirming my appointment, the very next day they called me up and said the same time slot was reserved by someone else. How come someones booked appointment is reserved by someone at the same time? They altered my appointment to another day and again on the very next day they called and said that the regular doctor is not available on my reservation day and there would be another optician who would be available..Is this some kind of a joke?

Ive been fortunate not to have to wear glasses to date (Im 56 now), but recently I need to wear reading glasses more often and have started to need some for driving at night. I hadnt had an eye exam for 13 years until last week. The staff was very efficient and professional taking measurements / photos, etc. and Dr. Ken was great in my exam and explaining all. Great experience in every area - very impressed with the state-of-the-art computerization and systems.

Called up and told them I had something in my eye and needed to find a DOC that could see me right away. They told me to drive over, did a little paperwork and in 20 mins the DOC KEVIN took a look and got the piece of plastic out of my eye. Thanks DOC. Highly recommend these folks.
