I have been a client of Dr. Michael Goldmans for over 15 years and I now return to his office for excellent, over the top care, even after moving to the Central Coast area. Dr. Goldman has consistently demonstrated an exceptionally high level of personalized attention. I really appreciate his investment in ongoing education and up-to-date technology, and his commitment to providing the very best service he can envision for each client. Dr. Goldman has consistently gone over and above my very high expectations. I love his frame selection, and highly appreciate his support in ensuring prescriptions are adjusted until they work for the client. I whole heartedly recommend Laguna Eye Care to anyone seeking a reputable, trustworthy, professional optometric practice.

Im a new patient of Dr. Michael Goldmans. Prior to my vision test last week, I had not had my vision tested for about 10 years. And when I did need a new RX, I usually went to CostCo for my eyetests & glasses. I now have vision insurance which is why I opted to have my vision tested at a proper state-of-the-art testing center like Laguna Eye Care. Dr. Goldman (and his staff) are all very friendly, helpful, and professional. Im usually very anxious when having my vision tested but I have to admit Dr. Goldman and his staff calmed my nerves immediately. I would DEFINATELY suggest Laguna Eye Care Center & Dr. Goldman to my family and friends.

It is a pleasure to be in the presence of a health practitioner who actually listens as well as offering explanations and alternatives to choose from. Dr. Michael is a very thorough and compassionate person and models what other health practitioners should be doing when guiding patients into pivotal health decisions. Treatment options are not black & white but there are options to consider for the best long-term results. Why cant all doctors, regardless of their specialty, perform in this manner? I believe people will express frustration in the future when not made an integral part of their treatment options. Thank you Dr. Goldman!

Yesterday was my first appointment at Laguna Eye Care and with Dr. Michael Goldman. I was so impressed by every facet of the experience. First the office is sparkling clean and lovely. The receptionist was pleasant and professional. Then came the best part, the technician who did all of the preliminary testing and Dr. Goldman!!! I was referred by a friend who had been a patient for years, and I am thankful for the referral. Dr Ruth is amazing! I have mono vision and wanted contacts. 2 prior Drs would only recommend contacts and reading glasses. Dr. Ruth worked effortlessly in making contacts work for me. Its been 5 years and I only wear contacts (glasses are now only an option). Dr Ruth is very patient and wont give up until you are completely satisfied with your results. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Ive only been for one visit but the experience was very positive. I had high expectations (from reading other reviews) - and I was not disappointed. Dr. Goldman was very easy to communicate with and took his time with me, explaining the various tests and what sort of information they provided about my eyes and eye health. I found him to be very professional and feel I can trust him for "the straight scoop" on all things to do with my eye health.

I have been to more than my fair share of Optometrists and Dr. Ruth Goldman is far and away the best I have seen. She listens to the issues you are having and legitimately works to try and resolve them. She even came in on her day off with her kids to meet me at the office so she could look at my eyes as I was having some pretty bad pain and was unable to wear contacts. You are missing out if you go to any other Dr.

The most comprehensive eye exam I have ever had. State of the art equipment was used to test my eyes. Some tests that I had never had before. Dr Michael Goldman took the time to explain the tests and their results so I would understand everything. Everyone was friendly and competent.
