This was my experience with the Ontario NVision Laser Center. 1. My appointments were always three to four hours late. At one point, the doctor I was seeing walked into the waiting room, an hour and a half after my appointment with him was supposed to have started. 2. Every time I was given a consent form, it was always cast off as, "but these are for old equipment, this stuff never happens now." Before my lasik surgery I was having second thoughts and was concerned about some complications I had read about, the doctor I saw convinced me that this never happens. I wish she had been more cautious and advised me to go home and think more about such an important decision instead of saying these concerns werent valid. The lasik actually damaged my eye, and I wouldnt have taken the risk if I felt it was possible and wasnt told by many people that it never happens. I feel like it was more important to them to have another paycheck than to do what was best for my vision. 3. On a follow up visit, the doctor I was seeing actually interrupted my visit to answer a phone call from her daughter about an audition at Cal State Fullerton. She proceeded to talk with her daughter while she was supposed to be listening to my concerns. As she left the room, she said "glad things are going so well". I was shocked that she said this, considering that I was having major complications with my eyes. She didnt hear or care about anything I said. 4. Whenever I brought up a concern, the nurses would say "but your vision is 20/20". Yes, my vision is 20/20, but my astigmatism wasnt corrected so I still need glasses, and now I have double vision and star bursts, making my job difficult and leaving me unable to drive at night. I also have a haze over my right eye, and pain from extreme dryness. But according to them, none of this was important because "my vision is 20/20". 5. On my last visit, I had waited three and a half hours to see the doctor and was just brought into the room. I needed to pick up my son from daycare, and walked into the hallway to tell the nurses I needed to leave. They kept saying, "well theres nothing we can do, the doctor is with another patient". I am usually a calm person, but my vision is damaged and its frustrating to spend 3-4 hours with doctors who dont really care that they damaged your eyes, so I got very upset. The nurse started to laugh and giggle to her colleague because I was upset. This was the last time I went to their office. I went to the lasik center in Fullerton instead. I was seen right away, they told me the lasik caused severe higher order abberations, and Im now on a treatment plan. I am glad to have found a doctor that actually cares about my recovery. My feeling was the office in Ontario did not care about their patients, and their office environment was unprofessional. Im sure that if you go in and have a successful lasik experience and never need to see them again, you would be fine. If you have any complications at all and had to see them for patient recovery, you would have better luck finding another office.

During law school I developed myopia (nearsightedness). I purchased my first set of glasses and I immediately hated them. I transitioned into contact lenses and I learned to hate them as well. I wore contacts for about 4 years and in the last year developed papillary conjunctivitis which made it feel as though there was always a foreign body (other than the contact lens) between my eye and eyelid. Finally, I decided that the risk and financial cost was worth exploring LASIK. I shopped around, compared prices and services and about two weeks ago I had a consultation with NVISION. I was told that my relatively mild myopia in conjunction with my relatively think cornea, made me a perfect candidate for LASIK. After some deliberation, I decided on NVISION and had my surgery about a week ago. The doctors and staff were knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions, which assuaged much of the trepidation I had about having a laser burning my eyes. The surgery took less than 10 minutes per eye and was painless. As advised, I kept my eyes shut until the next morning. The next morning I was seeing 20-15 (the same as I was seeing with my glasses). As a side effect, my eyes have been rather dry since the surgery, however the dryness appears to be dissipating as the cornea heels. I can now wake up without fumbling with contact lenses. I can go to the gym without glasses. I can wear MY sunglasses. Best of all, I am seeing 20-15 without the baggage that comes along with glasses and contact lenses. If you are a candidate and hate contact lenses and glasses as much as I did, this is your solution.

Monica i had my surgery about 2 weeks ago and i absolutly love not having to wear the glasses. i could not have imagined a better doctor to have done my surgery than Dr. Parikh. my only complain was with the office staff. i recived a letter from the associate who handles the appointments stating that if i paid cash i could recive a 100.00 discount. i called a couple of days before my surgery just to confirm and to make sure using my debit card counted as cash . i was told by an office staff employee that was fine. the day of my surgery they would not honor it even though i had the letter in hand and even the appointment cordinator told me that she would not hornor it. i got very upset and emotional and no one in the office cared. i feel i was offered something by nvision and then just denied it the day of the surgery. i would not recomend dealing with this office staff.

Let me start off by saying i was a nervous wreck leading up to my surgery, i always overthink big things like this and im sure alot of people are the same. I mean we are talking about our eye/vision. I got INTACS done which is diffrent from Lasik, to me its a bit more difficult, i could be wrong. This office Nvision is like a gift from God to me, they are all so welcoming, proffesional, and overall great people. Yes sometimes when you arrive you end up waiting alittle past your appt but you will understand once your inside. They take there time with your exam and answering all your questions, no matter how dumb your question is like me because i was nervous. Dr Pirnazar is one AMAZING person. After my surgery i did not feel any pain, and trust me im being 1000% honest i felt nothing, days later all i felt was like if i had an eyelash in my eye for a bit, no pain tho no discomfort. Its amazing how i felt nothing. Thank YOU again Nvision and Dr. Pirnazar.

I had my Lasik surgery a week ago and it was awesome! Loved everything about it. The process of it was really fast and simple. Got consult and surgery in a matter of a week. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and informative, from the receptionist to the doctors, willing to answer gladly every question i had. The facility was very nice and clean, they even had snacks which was awesome. Most importantly they were very great about working around my schedule and accommodating to my times requested, very promptly too! They made my family feel very welcome which I highly appreciate. The surgery itself was very easy in my opinion , next day i was back to work reading the 20/20 line and a week later I am now reading the 20/15 line. Definitely one of the best decisions, loved absolutely everything about it and I am super happy with my results! I recommend 100%
