What a nightmare! After having everything misrepresented and doing the same test over and over, we had to delay cataract surgery for my father because of time constraints. When we were finally able to get to it, we were given three points of contact and expected to know which phone number went to which person and what their job responsibilities were. I must have called them over 20 times and still nothing got done and everything just got more and more confused. Pacific Eye Institute didn’t give me the prescriptions to get filled but the paperwork said to fill them in advance. When I called to inquire how I was to give my father these meds I was told to call the Victorville office. I called the number on the instruction page that was right next to a Victorville address and was told I had called the wrong number. I don’t know what Pacific Eye Institute means when they say “the Victorville office.” Where is this magic place? At the last minute they say he needs a chest x-ray when the paperwork clearly states that this is only for people with Emphysema or COPD or breathing problems. Not my dad. I asked ab out this during the visit and was told, in person, that he didnt need one. They also didnt give me orders for any x-rays. I tried to call and find out if I was supposed to fax the EKG and Primary doc’s report over to Pacific Eye Institute or if the doctor had already done so. I couldnt find out because Pacific Eye Institute’s receptionist thinks she’s a mind reader or something and kept interrupting me. I’m sorry I don’t speak fast enough or know the correct terminology for their specific business, but I don’t; such expectations are rude and unprofessional. Inept or lazy employees put the blame on the patient or the patients primary doc. They can do no wrong. What a waste of time. . Contact information on paperwork not up to date. Compliance Officer (to complain) contact information was incorrect. They gave me another number that was disconnected. I called back a third time and was placed on hold for over 7 minutes only to be sent to Billing, who had no idea what I was talking about. How is it this place has no complaints? Could it be that by making the compliance officer inaccessible, they frustrate people into just walking away? I know Im fed up and tired. Well, they have a complaint now. I will be following up with the State tho they probably wont do anything because this is just shoddy business practice and patient disrespect, nothing real.

Enough is enough. The initial visit was acceptable, Dr. Novak is a friendly doctor, but after three months the fuzziness in my right eye continued after he told me the problem was stress related. In the next three months I lost 35 pounds from exercise & yoga, yet the eye problem persisted. I then attempted four times over a two week period to set up an appointment to recheck my eye and not once was my call returned by Dr. Novaks staff. The last straw was calling Pacific Eye Institute and telling the secretary that Dr. Novaks staff was not returning my call. Guess what she did after hearing about my dilemma? She immediately transferred me again to Dr. Novaks staff voice mail! Didnt she even listen to the problem that Novaks staff doesnt respond or call back?? Do they enjoy having their customers chase their tails? Terrible service. Sickening.

$75 for a no show appointment? First my child was found in good vision health and then they scheduled me a follow up appointment for 6 months in advance. I got no reminder call, no reminder letter, just a letter one week after the "schedule" appt saying we owe them 75$ for not going to the 6 month in advance appt. beware!

Ive been having terrible service from Michelle and Kevin. All I need is a doctors note for work because Im partially blind and my own doctor wont help me. Ive been coming here since 1999 with Dr. Siegle and they had way better service then. I will update my review if I ever get the help I need.

I had a terrible experience with place and the so called doctor fleming. It took 2 hours and 45 minutes to see fleming . when I asked this Dr. Why it has taken this long he refused to even do his exam. I think if you have to go to this "zoo" called pacific eye institute do see this individual

Great I was scared but the doctors were informative and professional..I was suprised how quick the actual procedure was and by the same evening I could see better than I ever had. I need another cataract surgery and am confident that I"ll have the same results.

I brought in my mom to have surgery. Her appointment was at 5:25 am. They kept us waiting for about an hour while they kept taking in patients that arrived way after we did. We were very disappointed with there service.

I have had a very positive experience here. Staff is very helpful and Doctors are very knowledgeable. This is a very busy place so make your appointments early, quality care and a surgery center that is well equipped.
