GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION! Walk-in at 8am, after waiting half an hour they informed me that they did not have a clinician coming in until 9am so it would be better to wait next door, no worries. I was called at 9:15am and the nurse had me do the normal pregnancy test procedures and then meet in a room, I thought to go over counseling. He asked me, Why did I come in? And told me I needed to go to the doctor. I asked him I was concerned about resources as my insurance is still pending and he cut me off and explained the Medi-Cal was pushed through. Again, did not let me finish to explain that is not the last step of getting insurance, I have Kaiser so my wait time is longer than other Medi-Cal applicants. He said they only do reproductive services, not prenatal care. I would like to point out on the website it says that they do! After a minute of awkward silence, I asked if that was all then as he was rushing. He said no, there is a lot of paperwork, all of this for a simple pregnancy test. And went on to say that two more times. I then became a little upset because, well Im pregnant and emotional. Then he rushed through the information (sounding like the commercial terms & conditions) and said "I assume you are seeing this pregnancy to completion". As a medical worker, you may NOT assume anything. Your services are to COUNSEL women on their reproductive concerns. Not be an stereotypically bitter nurse or nurse assistant. This sent me over the edge as I did need counseling this pregnancy, because we had considered abortion. I basically ran out of there without seeing the nurse practitioner, balling the way home. Thank you Planned Parenthood of Lakewood for a truly traumatizing experience.

I love it! Its like I walked in and next thing you know I walked out! Only cause I made an appointment. So everyone just make an appointment and be there 20min before so they can take you in and out. Friendly community.

I been to this location twice and i had no problem at all. They took me in quick i did have an appointment so i suggest you get one if you plan on going. The staffs were so nice and helpful no attitudes, no judgment!!

Really bad customer service. The girl who assisted right away started talking to me with a real bad attitude and ugly time of voice. To the employee: Keep personal life outside of work please.

Terrible!! Going through a crisis right now with my girlfriend and they refused to sell her plan B because shes 16. I thought thats what planned parenthood is for...
