Visited there twice. During the first time, I waited one our for X-ray, another one hour for dental exam, then one more hour for filling and regular cleaning. Finally, they only took less than two minutes to clean my teeth. It was very rude during filling and cleaning. No goggle supplied and water spilled over my face. However, they are very efficient to collect payment. My credit card has been charged during the first visit even though the charged fillings will take two visits to finish. After my payment, I kept receiving phone call and mail letter for payment collection. Ridiculous. To be fair, the second visit is a much better experience, at least a goggle was supplied. I kept receiving call everyday for several weeks, trying to collect the bill I have paid by credit card. Finally, I received a bill asking for late fee. What the f**k! My first visit was on Oct. 15th, 2016 and they charged me for the future service (the bill includes the charge for the second visit). Unbelievably, they tried to collect the paid bill over phone, starting from the first week. Now I received another mail for late fee, which was sent out Nov. 3, 2016. What a terrible dental center. Moreover, I called my credit card company and got confirmed that the dental center had received the payment at the first visit. Ridiculous.

I came here a year ago and had a decent experience. Honestly I dont know why others are complaining about long wait times, maybe I came in at the right time but I didnt wait more than 10 minutes and I was a walk-in appointment. The people were nice at the front desk and the dentist and hygienist were nice as well. My only complaint was the price of the service, Im not sure if it was really fair or not (didnt get quotes from other dental offices) but I paid $0 for the x-ray, then they found 8 cavities and charged me $2,000 for fillings (about $250 a filling). Went on a 0 interest payment plan and paid it off in a year $200 a month. Granted that one filling was very deep and almost a root canal and Im thankful they filled it, it has been 3 years since I went to a dentist last and I do drink a lot of sugary Starbucks drinks and dont floss much :( Then they pushed a deep cleaning for $800 on me which I couldnt afford (I think the hygienist was wanting to make a good commission on me I could see the $$ in her eyes when she was doing the checkup) and I told them I could not afford it at the time. I have a dentist friend and told him about western dental, and he told me to be careful because hey push unnecessary fillings on you in order to make extra $$.

I should have read the reviews before taking my kids here. It is terrible. I had ortho exams and dental cleanings scheduled. The staff was super confused and I spent all day there. I was there from 10 am to 3 pm for cleanings and two fillings. It was crazy. After much confusion from the staff and a confused and unprofessional ortho consult- I tried to pay and they didnt have my bill ready or even knew what I needed to pay. I left and the next day billing is calling me saying they are sending the bills to collection. The person on the phone was super rude (Marlon) and I told him the bills were incorrect and he told me I needed to pay my debt. I asked him for a breakdown of services done so I could tell him where it was incorrect and he said I had to go in person back to the dentist office because he did not have a break down of what was done. Then he just kept repeating that I owed this debt and needed to pay. Really really unprofessional and absurd. I posted a recommendation for orthos on Livermores Rants and Raves fb page and got very good recommendations which I will be pursuing. I also had ppl comment warning not to go to Western Dental. Dont!! Its awful all around!

Drove from Modesto to be seen.. 1st visit I checked in early and still waited 1 1/2 hour after my scheduled appointment to be seated in a hallway with rows of dentist chairs. Then I waited another 45 minutes to be seen for 10 minutes. 2nd visit drove from Modesto today.. checked in early.. waited over an hour after my appointment time before using the restroom and seeing all those dentist chairs in their hallway empty. --- Cancelled my appointment and walked out. They dont care about your time... they dont care about your privacy.. and even if you can understand their broken English they dont sound like they really know what they are talking about. I am reporting them to the California Dental Association and informing my insurance not to pay. Id rather have by buddy pull my tooth with a pair of pliers than let these people make hundreds or thousands of dollars by wasting my time and prolonging my pain and discomfort. If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible customer service! I came 20 minutes prior to my appointment to fill out paperwork. After taking 10 minutes to complete it I waited another 40 minutes with 4 people going before me when they arrived after me. After waiting 40 minutes I got x-rays done taking a total of 15 minutes, was put back into the lobby for another 15 minutes before sitting in a chair. Once called back I waited another 30 minutes and only when I complained about walking out did somebody acknowledge that I was there. When the dentist finally came in my exam took a total of 10 minutes and the cleaning took 20 minutes. I was there a total of 3 hours 45 minutes worth of work done. I will never be returning. While waiting I spoke with another patient whose daughter was having cavities filled she had been there a total of 4 hours and she was still waiting for her daughter to be done.

This dentist place is pathetic from the front office staff to the dentist. My parents needed to have dentures, but the staff made them come to the office at least 4 times and did no service. Every time my parents showed up to the appointment they had a lame excuse like the insurance was going through so they will have to pay it from the pocket, they would send the appointment date and time via text message, but when my parents got there, they will say that was not the time which the appointment was scheduled. The front staff is so unprofessional and rude. Also, they dont do what the treatment, which appointment is given for. They waste precious time. Avoid choosing this dental place for your family. Give your business to someone who will appreciate and understand.

Nothing to be liked! Waited more than an hour despite of arriving half hour before appt. Cleaning is 10 seconds polish/toothbrush done by a lazy RDA Ramy B..just a poor customer service in general by the RDA who spent more time chatting with staff instead of performing work. Did not even offer a rinse to my mother after doing denture impression with the gummy stuff. Have to ask and she just pointed to a direction and let us scavenger for the rinse. Ive in healthcare service for 20 years and Ive seen worse but this is probably the worst I have encountered. Lots of room for improvement. Not asking for special care just a competent satisfactory care.Thanks to mngr Aida for listening to my concern. It happened in western dental Livermore .
