I will never ever take my animals any where else! My barrel horse Cummins had a case of pigeon fever that went internal and I was certain I would have to put him down, I am a part time college student and there was no way I could afford the treatment he would need. Dr. Becky asked me what i could afford and I said at max $1000 she took that into consideration and my horse stayed in the ICU for 3 days with an IV a blood transfusion, ultrasounds and countless blood tests. My bill was a little over $700 I was flabbergasted....she said that she hadnt seen a case of internal pigeon fever and did most of the work free of charge for "research" the people at this practice truly care about the animals that come to them and I am so incredibly thankful that they saved my babies life.

We have been coming here for years. They really care about your animals. I am so impressed when they talk to our animals by name. They were there for us when we had to put our pony down and all the kids came to say goodby bawling. They have been there through healthy days and for sad days. They miraculously saved one of our dogs who had parvo. The have worked with our farm animals. Most recently they spayed my 8 year old lab. Most places send you home with a doped up dog in pain. Their spay cost was less than everyone else and they kept Lucy overnight. She was bouncing about when I picked her up. Small scar and fast heal and half the price of other vets. They are great. Their vets care.

My husband asked me to bring in our dog here because he had a relationship with this vet for years! When I tried to schedule an appointment because our dog had a swollen eye, they refused to schedule. They said that his ex-wife is now the owner of the account and they arent accepting new clients. I never heard of losing a vet due to divorce. Lol - I dont recommend them because of my bad experience, but it looks like they have plenty of clients, so they can pick and choose. Hopefully, I can find someone to see my dog soon. I wish I hadnt wasted my time here.

Absolutely Love Doctor Becky the Large animal vet Super Star.....she has answered question on call so many times, taken haul in patients at 10pm, and her and fernando are a great team, work well together, and really just are the best in my book.....Best of all, it does not cost an arm and a leg to take your animals here. She will do call-outs very reasonably, but I like to save the money and haul-in if I can. I will be a life long customer of Mokelumne River Vet.....that is for sure!

The people here dont care about your money, they care about making sure your pets are happy and healthy. We have brought our cat Tupac here for years. He has a tendency to get into nasty fights with other cats and everytime we take him here and his wounds are nice and clean by the time we get him back, along with clear instructions for high quality medicine for any type of animal. Cats, dogs, horses, anything. 10/10 reccomend this place

I have been coming to Mokelumne River Vet since we moved to Valley Springs in 2010. Weve used the Large & Small animal services. I have NOTHING but great things to say about this facility and the WONDERFUL doctors....from Dr. Becky in large animal, Dr. Beth in small animal, & The SUPER pleasant and friendly office staff....ESPECIALLY Hannah! All the Doctors and Staff treat all my horses with great care and attention. I have never had a bad experience with Mokelumne River Veterinary Services. I have utilized their ranch call services, inpatient/stable care for my horses which have exceeded my expectations. Best Veterinary Services in the Valley.

I found this place when I got my first Siamese kitten (Aurora) who has alergies. They helped nurse her back to health and now 1 more cat and 2 more dogs later we are still going there.....even though its an hour drive. The staff is great, the techa gentle yet girl and the vets knowledgeble and determined.

Love this vet office. Dr. Beth and Dr. Jan are the best and Im so happy they have taken over the practice. I have a small dog but I love that this practice offers large and small animal services as well as having a veterinary surgeon on staff. The vet tech are fast, efficient and friendly.
