I had an appointment with Dr. Luxenberg yesterday afternoon. He removed a couple of cholesterol deposits on my right eyelid that Ive had for a few years now. This time, my wait time was about 15-20 minutes. Although I was scared (Im not the bravest person in the world), I remained calm and Dr. L completed the procedure as my husband watched. My hubby said that Dr. L has extremely steady hands, which is a very important thing when it comes to medical procedures performed on ones face. The procedure took about 30 minutes, and so far I am extremely happy with the results. I am going back next week to have a smaller cholesterol deposit removed from my left eyelid. Even though there have been a couple of times Ive had to wait over an hour to see the good doctor, it is well worth it to me! I trust Dr. L and plan to stick with him from here on. I find the wait worth it. I like to have a doctor whos willing to spend enough time with me to explain things thoroughly and is not in a huge rush to get me out of his office so he can get on to his next patient! Again, I highly recommend Dr. Luxenberg and Id suggest that one plan their schedule ahead so that you have the time to wait for a great physician.

Excellent Dermatologist. I have been seeing Dr Luxenberg for 5 years The other day I had to bring my child in for a strange looking mole on her back. It had to come off. He was so careful and gentle with her. It turned out to be okay. She didnt even have a scar. Thank g-d for doctors like him. I wish they could all be this good:)

The wait times are ridiculous, and no one apologizes or seems concerned about wasting your time. The Dr. is good and nice, but the assistant seems a bit overwhelmed. I had to go back and forth with her several times in order to get my prescription straightened out. At least the wait time gave me the chance to write this review.

I have been a patient of Dr. Luxenberg for several years and he is by far the best dermatologist have ever gone to. Yes, the wait is sometimes long, but that is because he is spending all of the necessary time he needs to spend on a patient by patient basis. Very personable, very thorough, and highly recommended.

Dr. Luxemburg is phenomenal. His is patient and extremely thorough. The bad reviews on here are all about the wait times. Yes you may have to wait a bit but thats because he is being thorough with each patient.

Dr was very personable but the extreme wait times are brutal. What is the point of making an appointment if you wait over an hour to see the doctor?
