Dr Oku is the most helpful optometrist I have seen! He was very knowledgable and I can tell he genuinely cares for his patients. His staff always makes me feel welcome and I actually look forward to coming in! I called on very short notice and am so grateful they understood my urgency and fit me in the same day I called! The office is extremely clean which is one of the first things I look for. The contacts I got from him were the most comfortable lenses Ive ever tried and I love wearing them. I also needed antibacterial eye drops because I developed an infection and he actually had them available in his office and did not charge me for them which I am very thankful for. I obviously am not an optometrist myself so the fact that he explains everything thoroughly and wants to follow up with his patients shows the love and passion he has for what he does. If you are seeing an eye doctor who does not make you feel 100% happy, comfortable and trusting in his knowledge you are not in the right place. You have to put the health of your eyes first! I am ecstatic to have found Oku Optometry!

I enjoy coming in to see my Optometrist. I have been his patient for over a year now. I had noticed his yelp page and great reviews. I got an appointment and ever since then he has been my optometrist. He really explain how my process has been with my vision. He was very helpful when i had first my first pair of contacts and assisting me to proper use. They even notify me via text my next appointment since a I am always on the run and cant get to the phone the text message is the best way. I recommend it to anyone. He is understanding that college student pay alot and give a small discount. But the most amazing fact about this location that even when i lose the screw for my glasses they are always willing to help and replace it. I have never felt so welcomed by any doctor but Doctor Oku has been far the best.

Dr. Oku is very thorough in his exam. He reviews medical history and has his eyes open for something much bigger than just your eye health. So much more can be learned during an eye exam... Thank you!! His staff are off the chart amazing. I love the text messages to remind me of my appointment, rather than a phone call. Notifications are sent out by text when you are due for your annual exam. Really great features I have never seen used this way!! When you need glasses, he has a great selection, and his staff are amazing at measuring and fitting your glasses to you. So, so important for having an overall perfect experience. Thank you Dr. Oku and staff for all that you do!!

This is a wonderful office. Dr. Oku is very smart, you can tell by just talking for 3 minutes. PLUS he is soo nice, a very kind person. The most important thing is that he pays close attention to your eye needs, listens carefully to what you say to him, and can answer all your questions. I felt I was in the hands of an expert, and believe me, at my age (older) Ive met some people who dont know what they are doing, but I feel very secure with Dr. Oku, knowing that he is taking good care of my vision. The office staff, too, is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Okus practice!

Dr. Oku is my favorite Optometrist in town! Ive seen many throughout my years and I honestly have to say that he provides the best service ever! Dr. Oku is very patient and he takes his time and due diligence examining my eyes unlike others who have completed speedy exams and sent me on my way. He is professional yet personable. Love his bed side manner, He explains every detail never left his office thinking "i didnt understand" Medical Terms can be foreign lol. Great Selection of glasses.
