To begin with, it is a modern stand-alone facility with ample parking out front -- not a small office tucked into a doctors office building with scores of other medical offices and expensive paid parking (which those doctors never seem to validate). From the moment I walked in, everyone seemed delighted that I had selected them. The helpful and attentive receptionist assured me that they accepted and would bill my insurance. She gave me only two pages of customary forms to fill out (my contacts and past medical history). Just as I was completing the forms (less than 10 minutes) a friendly and competent technician welcomed me and took me to an examination room to check my vitals. Within a few minutes, Dr. Kimiko Snider MD, knocked on the door, came in and examined me. She agreed with my assessment that I had a sinus infection and said that I was ready for the antibiotics she prescribed. While there I asked her to look at a sore I had from an injury that was stubbornly not getting better. She referred me to her dermatologist. So, without having to wait days for an appointment, and wait over an hour to see a physician, pay an obscene amount for parking, I was immediately seem and treated by competent and caring medical practitioners. In my opinion, Eastbluff Medical Walk-In and Urgent Care sets the standard for treating patients in an atmosphere of rapid, uncomplicated, affordable and competent care.

My entire family goes to this clinic and Dr. Alterman specifically. The clinic is beautiful with state of the art equipment. My husband and I have gone to the clinic for everything that ails us, from a horrible sore throat, to a cat bite, to a wart removal and more. We have also taken each one of our five kids to see Dr. Alterman. We love him because he has such terrific bed side manner. He is so kind and gentle and has the kids laughing so much that it seems like they have forgotten they were in the Dr.s office. The clinic is great because you can call and make an appointment or if its more of a sudden thing or an emergency you can just walk-in. Our kids range in age from toddler to teenager and they all LOVE Dr. Alterman. We have gone to the clinic for a wide variety of reasons and have felt absolutely comfortable with the diagnosis and treatment EVERY time. Its interesting because each time a health issue comes up in our family the Eastbluff Medical Walk-In is the place we go. Dr. Alterman has become the go-to guy for us. Is feels like he HAS taken over as our family Doctor, we never go anywhere else. They always fit us in, its affordable, reliable and very welcoming and comforting. Thank you Dr. Russ Alterman and the staff at East-bluff Medical Walk-In, we are so very grateful. The Susolik Family

I was visiting CA for a week. I am a RN and went to this urgent care because my sxs were worsening--losing my voice, horrible sinus congestion and pressure, headache, fever, etc. The receptionist and MA were the only nice ones. The doctor had a horrible bedside manner. He was less than personal and stared at a screen typing on a computer the entire time. He seemed irritated the entire visit. He said I had a virus. He also said he never saw doctors or nurses at the urgent care because they already knew how to handle their condition. He was finished but never said anything, just kept asking if I had any other questions. As I was leaving, the receptionist asked if I had any prescriptions. I told her I didnt. She looked shocked knowing how bad I sounded. Then the doctor tried to back track and kept asking if I wanted any cough medicine. It was a horrible experience. I havent been that sick in a long time. You can always tell when the doctors are in it for the money instead of the satisfaction of helping people. When I returned to my state, my doctor immediately put me on 5 different medications because I was so sick. Nice try, Dr. Alterman.

"Real bad experiences by relatives, not once but multiple times at Vital Urgent Care 2507 East-bluff Drive in Newport Beach. As was told, they can have all kinds of claims on how good they are on their website and how family oriented their office is or how much they care about you, talk is cheap. But it all boils down to genuine "Client Care" which for the most part they dont have it. It was mainly due to one staff member (Breanna) & her boss who just does damage control with all kinds of creative excuses he published on Yelp & other social media. He never returned our complaint calls back, giving bad name and reputation to this place by proving repeatedly that all they care about is Money and noting else. Case in point, It took almost 3 months & many calls, paper works back & forth, wasting precious time to get our own money back which was double paid by my relatives and they knew it well. And Mrs. (Breanna) was the cause of it. As far as the real experience proved, she is a liability to this place & at the very minimum needs to be retrained for the basics of "Client Care" or this place will continue loosing business".

The doctors and staff at this clinic have the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. I would never recommend them to anyone. They were slow, ignore you, talk about you like youre not there, mock you, invalidate your illness, and are very overpriced. The doctors do not seem to know what they are doing. They called me by the wrong name and tried to convince me that I had been there less than two weeks ago, which I had not! Instead of being thankful that I was responsible enough to see if I had anything contagious, they invalidated my symptoms, put me through the same tests multiple times, and took no time to explain what I had. The only person that was somewhat nice was the male nurse I saw, but he forgot to put my vitals or symptoms in the computer so they had to be taken again. No one knew what was going on in that place. I left feeling worse than when I went in, having no idea what illness I had, feeling cheated out of the money I paid to see a doctor, and needing a second opinion. I do not recommend this clinic. If you do go, I sincerely hope that you have a better experience than I have had.

I visited this facility for an annual wellness exam because of the incentive my company has. I should mention that I am in perfect health, I only have some spinal problem which I have already been diagnosed with last year by a specialist and i am seeing a physical therapist for. When I made the appointment I mentioned that I am only here for an annual checkup and during the visit that was the first thing I mentioned. But two weeks later they sent me a bill for a sick visit, I followed up and apparently the doctor mentioned I visited her for back pain (WHY would I visit a primary care for something that was diagnosed by a spinal surgeon?!?). I have been contacting them but they seem not to care at this point where they already got their money since my insurance does not cover sick visits! I am planning to take this fraudulent activity seriously and will update everyone with what happens! Updating this review: The office manager contacted me and stated that they are going to change the billing code to a wellness visit and credit the charge back to my account.
