Steer clear from this business. They charge you a minimum of $400 per year (concierge fee) and provide horrible service. The staff at this office are the most ignorant, brain-dead and rude people to deal with, especially the Asian one. I have the top of the line PPO plan with Blue Shield of CA. I have a zero dollar deductible and pay approximately $620 per month for this individual plan. I pay a $20 copay for each visit. Every single visit Ive had at his awful office, I end up receiving a damn bill for approximately $80 - $120 weeks later. Supposedly its the amount Blue Shield of CA refuses to pay Dr. Waldmans office. The thing is that it is between Blue Shield and Dr. Waldman what is paid and not paid. I did my part and paid my copay and pay the high monthly insurance dues. This doctors office is continuously breaking the law by doing illegal "balanced billing". Thats exactly what this is. They bill a larger amount to the insurance knowing a lot of it will be rejected. They then turn around and bill me the remaining. Total scam and 100% illegal. Furthermore, every time I contacted Blue Shield, I was told this doctor is not in Blue Shields network, so again, another scam. They claim to be in Blue Shields network, then bill Blue Shield as out of network and turn around and bill the patient. Im currently logged into my Blue Shield and this claim has a message stating the following verbatim: The physician or other health care provider is not part of this plans provider network, and therefore, is not required to accept the amount allowed as payment in full. The subscriber is responsible for deductibles, copayment amounts, non-covered items, and the difference between the billed charge and allowed amount. Again, a typical scam his billing department is pulling with patients and Blue Shield of CA. They tell you they take Blue Shield of CA, then send you a bill a month later...after you paid your copay. Ive made numerous calls to Blue Shield of CA only to be informed this doctor is not in their network. I relay said info to the staff, only to be told they do accept Blue Shield and they tell me Blue Shield was wrong. I just got off the phone with Blue Shield. It is confirmed that Dr. Michael Waldman is NOT in Blue Shields network, so watch out everyone that plans to do business with him. My lawyers are getting involved now. This is ridiculous!

I have been a patient of Dr. Waldmans for 10 years. His staff is knowledgeable and caring. I never wait more than 15 mins. He is great with diagnosing and is a competent Doctor.
