My daughter got lice (3 times!) over the holidays and in early January... we tried to treat it at home. Come the third infestation, we headed to Lice Clinics of America. We drove all the way from Oakland to Cindy and her staff. They were patient, gentle, understanding, and SO helpful. They treated us right away, gave us certifications to show school that we were lice free, and even advised us how to keep from being re-infested as we cleaned our houses... Fast forward to a few days after treatment, and me being paranoid about seeing what I thought was nits, and my daughters school telling me they saw nits and sending her home, AGAIN. I called them freaking out, and they talked me through it, offered a free check and comb out, and even called her school to explain that it was NOT nits, it was simply dandruff that was "sticking" to the treatment oil that was on her hair. (This was also confirmed by a third party Lice checking company locally here in Oakland that certified her clean, just to drive home our point!) They talked to her school, my husband and myself, and were SO patient and understanding. Seriously, I cannot thank them enough for their patience and kindness during a time of frustration and not always kind words on our end. While we hope to never have to go back to a lice clinic, if we did, they would be our first stop- no hesitation, no matter how far, it was worth every penny and every mile driven. My wife panicked after she found lice eggs in our daughters hair and called Lice Clinics of America in Pleasanton at 9pm. She thought she would just leave a message so shed be called back in the morning, but instead, someone answered the phone. We spoke with the gentleman on speakerphone for nearly 20 minutes! He answered all of our questions, put us at ease, and scheduled us for the very first appointment in the morning. Cindy was the young lady that took care of us. Lets just say, the people here genuinely care and will do just about anything to accommodate you. Thank you guys so much, Ill be sending my friends kids your way!

What an AMAZING experience that came from such a frustrating one. Cindy and Stephanie are something out of this world! They made my daughter feel comfortable, their salon was immaculate, and I got my work done (on my laptop) using their wifi. They offered us bottled water and juice boxes and pretty much made us laugh the entire time. I would recommend them to anyone whos tired of doing the combing at home or having a nit picker come to you. Thank you again for the experience ladies!
