Im finally able to write about this and want to make sure no one else EVER has to go through what we went through here. We had a 17 year old dog we had to make the decision to put down. It had to be close to home as she couldnt travel far in a vehicle well. I called a few in the area and this one seemed really nice and the price was fair. We scheduled the appt for the next day I think for 4:30. My fiance had a change in his schedule so I called that AM to see if we could make it earlier to give him more time to recoup before going in. They said no problem and changed us to 2:30. We spent the day with our baby girl, feed her favorite ice cream, loved her and said our goodbyes and started to load her when we got a call from them 20 minutes before out appt asking us to come in an hour later. SERIOUSLY?!?!? Cause the doc needed to eat..... I was not happy, I said OK, but then could not just sit and wait to take her in for that, so I called back and reschedule for the next day. We go there and they were NOT NICE AT ALL!. My dog was obviously OLD with hip issues and they have a slippery floor, we brought her in the room and she was falling all over the place as we tried to hold her up. (german shep/beagle mix, not a small dog). The assistant said she would bring a blanket, never did. The vet came in and looked at her and then said she would get a blanket for her and asked the assistant for one, never came back with one. FINALLY she brought one in. We said our final goodbys and the vet came in, she had asked us if we knew what to expect, and we said yes because unfortuantly we had to put down our "puppy" 1.5 year old 3 weeks earlier due to a sudden horrific terminal illness. This was at another animal hospital, and they were great there. They put him to sleep first and then pushed the meds that put him down, it was hard but very peaceful, which we expected here. WRONG!!!! She just gave the meds that basically gave my girl a heart attack while she was awake, she started gasping for air, rapid breathing, and then whimpering in PAIN!?!?!?! She finally went and this was the most horrific experiance I have EVER HAD!!! I had her 17 years, LOVED HER, would NEVER HURT HER!! And then THIS is how she goes out?!?! IN PAIN!?!?!?! SERIOULSY, if they skip the meds to put her out peacefully, and KNOW others do this the HUMANE WAY, WHY THE HELL didnt they TELL US THIS!!!!! I have cried several nights over this and I am sooooooo, soooooo MAD at this VET! And then to top that off, we ordered the cremation package that was supposed to be individual cremation and a paw print of her, well, we got back a paw print, but it was MOST OBVIOUSLY NOT HERS!!!! And now we really dont even trust that we have HER remains. The package we got with our other dog was much nicer and it WAS his paw print. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!!! This was absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!

The staff at the front desk was incredibly rude. My 5 year old daughter and I heard and saw a tiny kitten in the parking lot running around like crazy and decided since we couldnt catch it ourselves to at least notify the staff at this place. I knew that the kitten was likely feral but my daughter, who has a heart of gold, begged me to let them know and see if maybe they could try to save it. We walked in, not even a hello or an acknowledgement and there were THREE people standing behind the desk. We stood there for several minutes without a word or eye contact. Finally they asked if we were there for pick up and I said no and told them of the situation. They all rolled their eyes and said, well what do you want us to do about It? Which is fine, had it have just been me. But I explained to them, as my daughter stood there crying, the situation. Again, they said what are we supposed to do. So I explained that I just wanted to see if rescuing a kitten was something that they did. Only then did the one with sleeved tattoos understand what I was trying to say. She very rudely replied well I GUESS I can go out there. All while my daughter is still crying. So I turned to my daughter and started to explain. She then said she would be outside in a few minutes. I gave her a coupleof minutes before we left. Look, I get it. It was a feral cat but we could have done without the blatant rude attitude and ridiculous looks. It was absolutely unnecessary. I also totally understand that it was probably one of the most left field things someone came in for that day. Maybe even ever. But the first impression was far less than stellar with zero acknowledgement when we walked in and even further less so with the attitude that came from them.

Pedley Square is a prime example of EVERYTHING that is wrong with Veterinary Medicine these days. Its all about GREED, the almight dollar!!! I brought a neighbors dog in that was viciously attacked by a pittbull. These IDIOTS refused to let the vet see this poor pup UNLESS I put money on the counter!! I had nothing with me... I literally jumped a fence, grab the bleeding pup, jumped in my car & tried to find a vet... As I am new to the area, I was directed to Pedley... VERY sad for this poor baby who was later put to sleep due to extensive injuries. Could he have been saved if PEDLEY cared enough to at least have a vet see him...??? He had a pneumothorax from the attack which as a Registerd Nurse I KNOW it is VERY treatable if treated ASAP... I will forever blame PEDLEY SQUARE Veterinary Clinic for this puppy dying!!!!!! I hope your GREED backfires & this HORRIBLE place closes down!!! *In Memory of Louis*

Would definitely recommend Pedley Square Veterinary Clinic to anyone new looking for a caring and affordable place to help your pet, we always recommend Pedley Square to everyone! The doctors are knowledgeable and do not rush you, they take time to answer any questions or concerns. Weve had two different dogs come here for surgery, one for a broken leg that needed a pin and our second dog needed a mass removal, both were successful easy going processes considering the circumstances with the broken leg they were able to help my dog asap. The medications prescribed to the dogs after prevented infection and my dogs pain was under control well, the healing process for both dogs were smooth and successful in healing properly. Same with friends I have recommended to Pedley Square. Definitely the best caring and affordable veterinary clinic out of many I have taken my pets to.

I had to recently have my dog put down due to cancer. Not only did they show that they cared, they were there with him to the end. They sent me a card in the mail offering their sympathy. They are the absolute best. Great price, great care. They grieved with me. I cannot express how much they understood that he was family to me. I have never experienced such great service on a personal level. Truly amazing. I recommend to everyone. They have earned themselves a customer for life. They do not push unneeded services. Such a hard thing for me to do, but they made gave me peace when I was unsettled. I absolutely love this place. Your animals are not treated like animals. The best that I have had in my life. Thank you, sincerely, Bryce Anthony Robinson.
