Really didnt like this office. The secretary just kept calling me and calling me, even though I told her not to call me, that I was really busy, and that I would call her back to set an appointment. She finally caught me "in a moment of weakness" and I allowed her to set a (oops) 7:30 am appointment the next day. I overslept and missed it, and was charged $150, according to their fine print. Also, they were going to do bonding work before doing a deep cleaning, which would have been really stupid, because as the x-rays showed from the next dentist I went to, my teeth were more yellow than I realized, and in places that I could not clean from just those strips that DeRosier gave me, so it would have actually been a huge disaster. So glad I went somewhere else. There are lots of other better options in Point Loma for a cosmetic dentist.

I have been a patient of Dr. DeRosiers since the early 90s. He has ALWAYS been extremely detail oriented and very particular about his work. His attention to detail has NEVER waivered. Unfortunately, I am genetically challenged with very soft teeth that require more crowns than the queen. Each time, Dr. D has performed any dental work on me he has done so with detail and care not seen from many other practitioners. In addition, he will call after a procedure just to check up and see how I am doing. Imagine that in this day and age...personal service! In addition, he is without a doubt one of the nicest men I have ever met. He is also very involved in the Pt. Loma community, which proves that he cares about the big picture. His staff is wonderful as well. You will not be disappointed chosing him as your dentist.

I had had 50 years of poor dentistry, severe panic attacks before and during my visits, a mouth full of bad crowns and a damaged smile when I first went to see "Dr. Dave" in 2003. Six years later, I am complemented on my smile, I dont lose a nights sleep before I go to the dentist, and all my crowns are now in great shape. Dr. DeRosier is not only a fabulous dentist (he goes to all the seminars and uses all the latest techniques and equipment), but he is also one of the nicest human beings I have ever met. I used to sob in the chair-- now I smile. I cant recommend him highly enough. C. Carroll

My experience with Dr. DeRosier was wonderful! My daughter is in college in San Diego (1200 miles away from home) and she needed a dentist for a dental emergency. I called his office and was able to get her in in less than 24hrs. Robin was very friendly and helpful and about 2 hours after I had made the appointment, Dr. DeRosier called me PERSONALLY to tell me that he had talked with our dentist here and to assure me that my daughter would be taken care of. It eased a worried moms heart and my daughter really liked him and got her dental needs taken care of in record time.

Dr. DeRosier is a good dentist, but his Front office is a disaster. The office manager does not quote you an accurate cost. She disregards all privacy issues and repeatedly contacts you after you have asked her to stop. I spoke to the Dentist about these issues, but he still has the office person talking to me. Time for a new dentist.
