Worst dental experience Ive ever had. I went to this office *twice* to deal with some cavities, after having already discovered the cavities at a cleaning with another dentist. I think its already a pretty good indication of how bad a dentist is if they cant deal with 3 cavities in one appointment. I must have ended up spending at least 4 hours at this place between the two visits, both times with at least 40 minutes waiting in the exam chair for Dr. Reagan to show up at all (and thats after the usual 20-ish minutes in the waiting room). My first appointment ended up not having anything more than an x-ray done because Dr. Reagan had a lunch appointment, an obvious indication of how little respect or consideration he has for his patients. The second appointment was again dominated by his frittering time away, so much so that the Novacaine had almost completely worn off before he started the procedure. After the second round of Novacaine, he was very obviously rushed and he worked with such disregard for care or comfort that I have never experienced with any medical professional. All of this frustrating experience over some fillings. I am so sorry for anyone who was unfortunate enough to go to this guy for anything more substantial, and I hope that this review will keep a lot of people from making that mistake. My mom also went to him and Dr. Kallous looking to get some implants, and her experience was even worse. Throughout the experience, they were condescending and extremely evasive about answering questions, especially when it came to pricing, and were all around unhelpful in allaying any of her concerns which are they should really expect for anyone going for such a pricy and significant procedure. Not to mention their services are significantly overpriced. In short, there is no reason to go to this dentist. The 1 out of 5 stars I gave them is for their convenient location.

My wife used this dentist for some work, and Dr. Vanson actually did wonderful service. Unfortunately we had an absolutely miserable experience with the front office. Long story short, they overcharged us by over $3000, which is almost *HALF* of our total charges. They assumed that the procedures we had performed (that were covered by our insurance) were not covered, so they just didnt bother submitting the procedures to the insurance. Isnt that the point of submitting codes to the insurance, so that they can determine how much I need to pay? We mentioned this to the office manager and got the runaround for *FOUR MONTHS*. Each time we tried to speak with the office manager we would get brushed off. Promised deadlines came and went. Each time I talked to them they would get back to me in a week, or a few days. Each time I never heard back from them. We ended up opening a complaint with our insurance to get this matter settled. I cannot recommend this office, because SOMEONE on the back end isnt doing their due diligence. Buyer beware if you use this office, and check your insurance to make sure that the office is charging you what they should!

Such a pleasant experience with Dr. Vansen! I havent been to the dentist in a couple years and knew I was due for another checkup and cleaning. I looked through my employers dental directory and found Rancho Dental Group and signed up with them out of the blue. The assistant, Moji, was such a sweet and warm person and made me feel very comfortable from the start. Dr. Vansen was such a professional and is such a warm and friendly doctor! She performed her work with the efficiency and skill of a master dental worker. I dont think Ive ever seen hands move from the teeth to the instrument tray so fast. Im confident that she could do her work with her eyes closed! I felt like I was in good hands the whole time. I didnt experience any of the issues that these old 1 star reviews had before me. They were posted several years ago so there could have been a personnel change. I cant speak for the other doctors here, but I couldnt have asked for a better exam/cleaning/filling than what I received with Dr. Vansen. Rich

I went here & was totally misinformed by the staff. I do not have very much knowledge in the dentistry field and I am fairly young. I feel like I was totally mislead by the staff here, and taken advantage of. They failed to inform me that the white fillings were considered cosmetic & after having the procdures done, they informed me the total would be over $800.00. They charged over $100 per cavity. I should have asked questions before the services were provided. However. I put my trust in the hands of a professional, and was taken advantage of. I have complained to the manager there, and of course the finance person (Chanel) says she informed me that my insurance did not cover these. They are deceitful, misleading, not helpful at all, and not very informative.

I went here to get a crown and the dentist was a complete and utter idiot, insulting us, and doing shoddy work clearly out of resentment because we refused certainly more expensive crowns. It was so bad that we didnt even let them put the crown on and instead went to the only dentist we trusted even though he wasnt on our insurance.

They are absolutely horrible. They look at you as commodity not a valued customer. They refused to clean my teeth, and only rushed me in and out to tell me about the things that cost money, such as deep cleanings, etc. The dentist was rude and was only concerned with making more money, not my health or well being.

Terrible experience, was treated very rudely. They only want to up-sell you, and when you decline they refuse to treat you at all. If they tell you that you need a deep cleaning (and they will tell you that you need a deep cleaning), please get a second opinion first.

Everyone I have come in contact with really enjoys thier jobs and you can feel it when you are in thier presence. You can tell the Dental Staff cares and thier work has been painless for both me and my wife.
