I havent been to an eye doctor since I was a child. Im your typical stubborn taurus. I went to Eyeloha Optometry from all the positive reviews. I get really nervous going to any place that has the name "Doctor" in it. Dr. Lucinda is extremely friendly, patient, and calming. The entire atmosphere of Eyeloha Optometry is very relaxed and cozy place to go. Dr. Lucinda was just amazing! She explained everything very thoroughly during the eye exam and just made me feel very comfortable. Nestor, the front office person and eye technician was super friendly and very knowledgeable. Nestor was great at helping me pick out my glasses and sunglasses. I never felt pressured at all. The service and knowledge in her office was fantastic! Thursday, I got my eyes examined. Friday picked out my glasses. Then Wednesday my glasses were ready for pick up. How fast was that? I should have never been so stubborn for not going to get my eyes checkout, because its just amazing how clear I see now. Thanks Dr. Lucinda and Nestor! I absolutely recommend this place!

Ive been wearing glasses for the past 25 years, and for much of that time, I took for granted how important it is to have good continuity of care. As I inch closer to needing bifocals, I wanted an optometrist who could make sure that my vision was on the best possible trajectory. I finally noticed Eyeloha Optometry on routine drive in my neighborhood, and Im so glad I took the chance and made an appointment. Dr. Li is a great optometrist who takes the time to get to know her patients needs and has the experience and expertise to care for the long term health of her patients. She doesnt simply write up prescriptions because she understands that having to wear glasses is a condition that needs to be managed. Shes good at explaining her recommendations and weighing out options. I feel that my prescription was arrived at in a very transparent manner -- something that I hadnt had since I was a kid and seeing a family optometrist friend.

I love this office! Dr. Li is so fun to work with. She is down-to-Earth and very intelligent. Unlike many healthcare professionals, Dr. Li takes as much time as needed to discuss my health concerns, treatment options and the expectations. She even takes time to chat about my life. Eyeloha provides excellent, personalized care. Because Dr. Li runs a small, family business the atmosphere is friendly and not too busy. I am able to get an appointment within a week. I really like the front desk assistant she has. He is very friendly on the phone and in person. I definitely recommend Eyeloha for honest, good quality care. I dont live in PB anymore, but I still keep Eyeloha as my primary eyecare stop!

I called to make an appointment with the Dr. Luskin with high hopes. I did not get past the gentleman that answered the phone, before I was completely disappointed. He very hurried and told me that I did not sound like I had myself together and needed to call back when I did (I did not know I needed my specific vision insurance when I called). Dr. Luskin, I would hope this is not reprehensive of how you run your business, first impressions are everything. How disappointing. Makes you wonder how people may have decided to call another Dr. and just not say anything...

Nestor is the best front office guy. If I were still in practice, Id try to steal him for my own office. Dr. Li boldly went where no other optometrist has gone in a loooooong time. She let me try a passel of contacts for astigmatism correction to see if any combination would allow me to see both near and far. The result: I now dont have to add glasses to my contacts to see .ppt projections in conference rooms! This IS a major life improvement. She wasnt willing to settle til wed tried everything, and for that I am most grateful.

Highly recommend this office! I have been a patient for many years and even after moving from Pacific Beach to Clairemont, I keep coming back because the atmosphere and service are top notch! Dr. Li is very professional, thorough, and personable. After each time Ive met for an eye exam and review of my prescription, Dr. Li has explained my options for contacts - dailies, extended wear, etc. Weve looked for low cost ways to meet my (somewhat complex) needs. I really appreciate that there is no upsell!

I dont typically write a lot of reviews, but Dr. Li and the the staff at Eyeloha go above and beyond. Dr Li is patient and thorough during exams and takes the time to explain the science behind your eye problems. They have also helped my though eye emergencies and insurance issues. They are always friendly and willing to go the extra mile, if you are looking for a new optometrist, look no further.

They make sure you understand how any applicable billing and rebates work, Dr. Li even sent me a followup email with rebate instructions and a digital receipt attached to make it easier to claim my rebate. Visits here are actually enjoyable and Eyelohas service is unparalleled :)

Dr. Li is very thorough with her eye exams, explains everything to me, and is easy to work with. The quality of the lab they use, is superior to any other we have used for our glasses. Her Assistant Nester, is very courteous, and follows through when they say they will call you. Very accommodating in making appointments!
