The office was comfortable and stylish. I was seen at my scheduled time. Dr. Klein worked efficiently, but, was never rushed and took plenty of time to go over my results and answer my questions. He even answered my more general questions about what trouble would look like in the retinal scan - luckily, everything looked good. Do to my constant computer use, I did end up needing a prescription for near field glasses. I was passed off to Nathan who did an amazing job of explaining my computer benefits. We established a price range that I was comfortable with on the frames and he stuck to that. I really appreciated that there werent any instances of trying to upsell me on more expensive frames. I also appreciated that he took time to help me find a nice pair of frames. I have no sense of style, so, a more stylish pair of eyes was great to have. I left happy with the eye exam and the glasses I selected (cant wait to get them)! I would recommend this office without reservations.

Urban optiks has, by far, the best selection of frames and the best thing is that they accept VSP. They carry Francis Klein, Ici Berlin, Traction, Gold & Wood and Face a Face. I recommend them for anyone who wants something really stylish and fun. The team is really nice and they are awesome at finding you the best frames that look awesome! Im actually hooked - each year, I get frames and always receive a lot of compliments. They are located off Park and University - its street parking so bring change for the meter. You can get here by bus also and the stop is really close to the boutique. If you need an eye exam, the Doc performs them on site. Its all in one in this place. Come by and shop!

I cant say enough about our experience at Urban Optics. The entire operation is top notch! Its obvious that Dr. Klein really cares about his patients. He was so kind and caring, and took his time to be sure that my husband and I were evaluated with exactitude. The office is clean and beautifully appointed with state-of-the-art equipment and a great selection of frames. The entire staff couldnt have been nicer. They, too, took the time to help us find just the right eyewear among their unique and beautiful stock. Go to the great team at Urban Optiks; you wont be disappointed!

I was visiting from out of town and my contacts broke (I had forgotten to take extras). I saw their place and decided to go in to buy new contacts from them. I was treated extremely well as soon as I walked in, offered drinks... The place is charming and the staff wonderful! My doctor faxed the rx to them and they were kind enough to give me a pair free of charge. They even gave me contact solution. Their kindness will never be forgotten. I deeply appreciate their great hospitality and service. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

I came in inquiring more on their custom contacts. I met with an older gentlemen who told me to visit their website. I asked if I could have a card or any other information, and he basically just told me to memorize the website and walked away without finishing out conversation. Ive experienced being snubbed by a boutique once or twice, but I never though that I would experience the same behavior from my own neighbor.

The office was easy to find. There are many frames to choose from at different price ranges. They accept VSP Insurance plans. Nathan Caracter exceeded our expectations and found exactly the frame we were looking for. We were so pleased, we bought 2 frames since ours was a discontinued style. On street parking only; so allow extra time if you have to walk a block or two. We will shop here again.
