Ive unfortunately had a bad experience with OPT and then given them another change, which turned out to be an horrible and expensive experience. First, the eye exam was great, very professional, no complaints there. I then purchased a first pair of glasses. From the suggestion of the staff, I selected a light frame I liked the look of. However, I was disappointed when I tried the frame with my actual prescription lenses. You see, the suggested frame was much too light for the strength of my prescription, which made the glasses not hold in place very well. This was clearly a downgrade from my previous glasses. About a month after purchasing these, my backpack containing my glasses was stolen. I needed a replacement pair ASAP. I went back to OPT and clearly explained that I was happy with the look of the previous glasses but hated that they werent comfortable and did not hold in place. Multiple times, I restated that my number one concern was that they must comfortable and usable for all sort of activities. After trying multiple pairs on, their staff suggested a pair that had a plastic frame. I voiced worries that a plastic frame would be less stable than a metal frame, but was assured that would not be the case. I decided to purchase the (very expensive) frame. After receiving it and having the frame adjusted, the glasses held ... for two days. Then the frame lost its adjustment and I had to go back for another adjustment. Then again. Then again. Then again. 5 times in the first month. These glasses were defective and would not hold the adjustment. They literally would fall off my face if I tilted my head downward. After complaining enough, I was assured they would exchange the glasses if one final adjustment did not fix the issue. It did not and I returned and ask for the promised new frame. They then reneged on their promise. After enough complaining to talking with the owner, they offer to sell me another pair at a discount (the price was still over 500$) AND I would have to use my insurance on top of that amount. I decided that I would simply buy my next pair somewhere else. Ive spent over a thousand dollars at OPT on two pairs of glasses that I regretted. They are good at the styling aspect of the business, but not at the practical aspects. They also dont stand behind their product and make promises they dont keep. Dont go there.

Wonderful service! When I was looking for new glasses, Todd made me an espresso and picked out 12-13 frames that he thought fit my face shape. We whittled down the choices to four, more closely compared them, and then further narrowed to two options. By the time I made my final decision, about 10 minutes total had passed from start to finish. It was the most pleasant eyeglass shopping experience Ive had, and I ended up with what are probably the frames Ive been most happy with in my life as a corrective lens wearer. And the experience essentially repeated itself a year later when I went in for new sunglasses.

The service here is the best!!! Ive inadvertantly followed the folks that run this place from another eye glasses store: they were amazing there and still are here! For one, they put up with me (I can be a picky, but appreciative customer). Secondly, despite some challenges with the lenses I ordered last, they tirelessly worked to get them exactly the way I wanted at no extra cost, were extremely communicative and even worked with me and my budget for the original cost. There customer service really is there best, hands down.

Everyone is your friend! I wish buying glasses were a more regular event as Id love to visit this place even more. My prescription was quick and easy. They helped me pick out great sophisticated glasses for my face and it was all at a great price. My friends go here, my SO goes here.
