After reading all the wonderful reviews about Dr. Avazian, I made an appointment to see her the next day. While she comes across as being very friendly, I question her motives. When I went to get new contacts, she started pushing Ciba Vision contacts instead of my normal Acuvue ones that I had been wearing for years. Since she seemed like she was very knowgeable, quoting that they have the highest oxygen content blah blah and that she swears by them, I agreed to give them a try. I didnt like them however since they were uncomfortable and she kept giving me different contacts of the same brand. Finally after the third try, I asked for Oasys, which she claimed was made by Ciba Vision as well and didnt have any in stock. However, she was wrong! Everyone knows that is Acuvue. After I confronted her, she apologized immensely and found some Oasys contacts, but at the followup, she kept pushing for the Ciba and told me to try it again when I said I liked the Oasys ones better. I believe she gets kickbacks from the company to promote their products because she was unbelievably pushy and not giving me the ones I requested. My coworker went to her as well based on my initial recommendation and she went through the same experience. Overall we find her to be very deceiving, coming across as wanting to provide us with the best. However that is far from the case and she manipulates you into buying the most expensive, and not comfortable contacts. We will never go back there again. I hope you think twice about stepping through these doors.

I had Insurance they said they took. Once in the door She said I had to Pay the difference with a credit card or cash. Its not what she said its how she said it. VERY RUDE! I had just filled out all my personal, Medical history on the clipboard still sitting on the counter, I went to pick it up to reevaluate my decision to do business with her, she stood up and yanked it out of my hand Yes this is the good doctor Carol doing this. She Said that it was hers and she could keep it. I demanded the photo copy of drivers license they took earlier. After several moments she did give that back to me. But she refused to destroy the other documents before I left. She is just a Very Rude person,,,the office help are very nice, I feel sorry for them.

I didnt realize how much my dry eyes was effecting my vision. Dr. Carol Aivazian told me to take some vitamins and now I can comfortably wear my contacts. It is such a relief. Thank you. She diagnosed something that for years other doctors were not able to help me with. She also saw my 4 year old daughter. She was very happy and had fun during her exam. We left very happy and confident that we got the best care possible. The staff at 20/20 Optometry was excellent!

Love, love, LOVE this place. This is the ONLY eye doctor you should go to if you live in Santa Clarita. Staff is wonderful, office is beautiful, and I never feel rushed or unwelcome. She also takes children as young as 6 months old! So happy to be back here with my new family and cant wait for our next visit. How often can you say that about an eye doctor??!! You need to go here!
